On Habermas' Philosophy Of Science

Juergen Habermas is the leading character of the second generation of Frankfurt School. He was born in Germany where has abundant humanism , he had undergo Second World War and German Conservatism, that gave him profound effect to its thought development. Habermas' philosophy of science had some origins , it contained the thought of Frankfurt school, the German society theory, analytic philosophy of language, Freud's psychology, especially has Marxist philosophy.Habermas expatiated the demarcation of science, proposed that should permit the existence of review in metaphysics but no fantasy, the type of knowledge has been classification with interest, technological interest: experienced interest-analytical science , practical interest: historical-hermeneutical science and emancipation interest : critical social science. He analyzed the problem of scientific objectivity, and proposed "the Pragmatic Theory of Truth" its foundation is the consensus of communication, scientific research have important practical value. He criticized the problem in the growth of science : "science and technology is the first productivity"; "science and technology is ideology"; reason of the tool, raise a method of introspection and criticize to research social sciences, so that the people could intercourse without disorder and understood mutually.This article was based on Habermas' philosophy of science four aspects- the demarcation of science, scientific objectivity ,the problem on ideology of science and science research meathods, has conducted the system research to the scientific realism critique and combs, carried on the detailed elaboration to its viewpoint theory and the quite comprehensive appraisal, and has appraised her scientific philosophy thought contribution and the limitation, thus attempted to give one about Jurgen Habermas' scientific philosophic thought approximate outline, deepens by the time to Habermas philosophy of science understanding.
