Remote Sensing Image Database is the database used to storage, manage and retrieve the sensing image, and it is an important component of the Remote Sensing Date Application System. In recent years, with the rapid development of computer technology and remote sensing technology, the remote sensing data has had a substantial increase. Organize, storage, and efficient access to massive remote sensing date and the treatment of data, become an important issue.This thesis is directed against the issue, uses project of Dynamic Remote Monitoring of Land of China's Land Surveying and Planning Institute as application backgroud, results-based management of remote sensing data as core, according to monitoring to distinguish different subject to manage the achievement contralizedly, servived for applicate and analyse and decision-making support. The system collects, coordinates in consistency and arranges monitoring results of previous calendar year according to developing tool of providing conventient; the system develops tool of fast-enquire which is professional and easy to operate; the system according to different subject develops relative tool of application analysis, achiveing in-depth analyse and applicate results of remote monitoring. Completed applicate and analyse system of dynamic remote monitoring of land using C#, Oracle and SuperMap SDX+. Achieved standardized consolidation and management of results of remote monitoring of land, on base of achieveing fast-enquire massive of results of remote monitoring, strengthed the visual expression and applicated analysis of results of remote monitoring, through spatial analysis and data mining, laid the foundation for analyse the result in-depth, provided supporting tool for management and decision-making.This system achieved standardized consolidation and management of results of remote monitoring, efficient management of massive of results of remote monitoring, fast-enquire and visual express of massive of results of remote monitoring, achieve preliminary data mining and applicated analysis of results of remote monitoring. This thesis made details on design, development and application of Remote Sensing Image Database. Firstly, introduced the development at home and abroad of Remote Sensing Image Database, made a preliminary understanding on it. Secondly, introduced the development of Remote Sensing Image Database, including development of the overall structure, system architecture and database design, made an overall understanding on the management of Remote Sensing Image Database. The third, introduced the application of Sensing Image Database, including introduction of the main framework and the function of the system, made a profound understanding on specific framework structure and achievement of function of the management of Remote Sensing Image Database. At last, introduced the applications of the system, including several brilliant ways to achieve, detailed description on algorithm of specific function of management of Remote Sensing Image Database.
