Colloid belongs to the soft material, which is very important to our life and has broad application prospects. Colloid exists in many fields extensively, such as the nature and the life. It is not only related to the life, such as blood, collagen, viruses, but also commonly used in the industry like detergents, cosmetics, paints, inks, food, etc. As is known that the interaction among the colloidal particles is very complex, so it is meaningful to get the effective interactions among them, which can help us understand the structure and the stability and the performance of the colloidal system. With the aid of the hyper-sphere method, the influence on the distribution of the charged colloidal spheres from the electrostatic interactions is studied through Monte Carlo simulations. Compared with the hard-sphere system, the numerical results show that the distributions of the charged colloidal spheres are affected by the electrostatic interactions. This thesis consists of three chapters: In the first chapter, the history and progress on soft condensed matter, including colloidal systems, and the motivation and the method used in this paper are briefly reported. In the second chapter, we discuss the influence of the electrostatic interaction on the distribution of the charged colloidal spheres through Monte Carlo simulations. Finally, a brief summary and the prospects of our research work are given.
