| Colloids are one of very important kinds of soft matter. The theories of colloids arecompletely statistical. The charged colloids are not only abundant in chemical domainbut also are broadly applied in biological systems. Studying the effective interactionsamong the charged colloidal particles can help us get the structure and the performanceof colloids. Making use of the hyper-sphere method and Monte Carlo simulations, we haveinvestigated the influence of coulomb coupling on depletion Interactions in the ChargedColloidal Systems in this thesis. In chapter one, we briefly introduced the properties of soft matter, the colloids systemand the depletion interactions, Monte Carlo simulations and hypersphere method. In thesecond chapter, with the aid of the hypersphere method, the effective interactions betweentwo like-charged macro-ions in the charged colloidal system were studied through MonteCarlo simulations. We changed the coulomb coupling parameter by altering the charge ofcolloidal ions. The numerical results show that both the depletion potential and depletionforce are sensitive to the colloids charge. With the same method, the influence on thedepletion interaction from the dielectric constant in the charged system were investigatedin the third chapter. Finally, a summary of the work and a outlook of this aspect weregiven in the last chapter. |
