In this thesis, We analysed the Salt-tolerance of 85 strains that have antimicrobial and cytotoxic activity. When the concentration of NaCl≥3%, all strains can grow well, and they were isolated from mangrove, it was showed that the 85 strains were marine bacteria.Identification of the 85 strains were carried as follows: morphological characteristics were detested by Gram stain and observation under microscope; physiological and biochemical characteristics were analyzed by Biolog system for carbon usage and other conventional tests for biochemical characteristics; 16S rDNA sequences of these strains were obtained and applied to the phylogenetic tree for the systematic analysis. The systematic evolution relationship of these strains was investigated and some of the strains were identified to species level. Sixteen strains were identified to species level. 29 strains were identified to genera level. 3 strains failed to identified to genera level.Forty five strains were identified to 9 family and 13 genus (Bacillus,Micrococcus,Microbacterium,Isoptericola,Arthrobacter,Vibrio,Klebsiella,Pseudomonas,Entervbacterium,Pantoea,Lysobacter,Acinetobacter,Halomonas). The genus were divided into three groups: Y - protebacteria; the high G+C mol % gram-positive; the low G+C mol % gram-positive.Isoptericola,Klebsiella,Pantoea,Lysobacter, the 4 genus have not see reported before which can produce active substance form marine.
