Contribution To The Taxonomy Of Nemouridae From China (Placoptera: Nemouroidea)

The present paper is taxonomic study on Chinese Nemouridae (Plecoptera). The paper is divided into four parts: introduction, summarize, material and methods, and taxonomy. For summarize, the research history of taxonomy and phylogeny on the Nemouridae are reviewed; the taxonomic characters are outlined; the higher classification and phylogeny in the whole order and the family are briefly reviewed. Finally, based on the examination of over 2000 specimens from Shaanxi province, Yunnan province, Sichuan province, Zhejiang province etc., in China, a total of 75 species belonging to 8 genera 2 subfamilies are described, including 1 new genus and 34 new species. The keys are presented to facilitate the identification of the taxonomic taxa, including subfamilies, genera and species.New species:1.
