| In Heidegger's philosophy, the question concerning technology is one among which are closely connected with our modern society, therefore, it has long been a hot topic in the western philosophy circle. In the meantime, the uniqueness and depth of his philosophy have lured misunderstandings on his thinking of technology from technology philosophers and eco-moralists.Heidegger's philosophy on technology is originally based on his thoughts about being rather than aiming at discovering a kind of cure for various social problems created by modern technology. In his mind, the advantages and disadvantages of the modern technology and methods are not the roots responsible for the cornered situation the modern man faces, but rather, determined by enframing, the essence of modern technology. It is this enframing that, has cornered man and species, degrading man's dwelling into a special one. In this situation, man has to confront such problems as environmental protection and species extinction. Under the enframing, in which direction is the man supposed to go?
