Study On Estimating Multiple Landscape Value For The Wetland Of The Lower Reaches Of Tarim River

The arid areas in west China are the natural experimental fields for arid area research. The Tarim River is an important ecological river in west China. The Yuli-Ruoqiang region in the lower reaches of Tarim River is a typical river-corridor landscape area and the region is the only landscape corridor of Korla City, the largest city in south Xinjiang, and of the new Loulan City reconstructed in the future, and it plays an important connection role in sustainable development in the Tarim River watershed. In this paper, the wetland of the Lower Reaches of Tarim River, dominated by the"Green Corridor"in the lower reached of the Tarim River, are selected as the study objects, which is of significance for studying the wetland multiple serving and for approaching the general plan of the regeneration of landscape ecology. In the applied study on the landscape ecology in this paper, connecting the measures of the ecological economics, the establishment of the system on estimating target and the exploration on the value change reason are both paid great attention to.(1) The new progresses of the study on the landscape ecology in both China and foreign countries are collected in all-around way, the core framework and the principles of researching landscape ecology are put forward, and the hot and new domains of researching landscape ecology are discussed. There are the extensive theoretical and practical innovation potentialities in the study on the multi-function landscapes in arid areas. According to the previous achievements in scientific research, the characteristics of the landscape ecology in arid areas in west China and in the given wetland are revealed, which have the intensive particularities and potentialities in the study on landscape ecology.(2) The classification system of regional landscape ecology of the river-corridor in arid areas is developed by collecting and interpreting the satellite images (the calibrated MS aerial photos of 1980, TM images of 1990 and 2000). By regarding the regional actuality of the river-corridor landscapes in the lower reaches of Tarim River as the reference, the acreage of the different landscape departments have been acc0unted. The ecological attributes and function characteristics of soils and plants of the various landscapes in the study area are extensively researched by combining the field investigations about the vegetation and soils as well as the related maps.(3) By summing up the and contrasting the wetland value estimating method which have existed, the system of the landscape value estimate which suited of Tarim River is constructed.
