Lanzhou Active Fault Surveying and Earthquake Risk Assessment Project includes spatial data, attribute data, image, literature and reports and so on. So there have some problems in project, such as data management, data storage and data accessing. In this thesis, there are important problems to be resolved according to GIS and computer technology.The thesis starts with the method research in theory, which is based on Model Driven Architecture, combining with Unified Modeling Language and Geodatabase. It is primary discussed the relation of MDA, UML and Geodatabase. At the same time, it presents the method of complex data management and data structure in active fault surveying project. Ultimately, material process on GIS Database implement and development using MDA and UML is indicated.In the way of technology innovation, Seismic-geology data model, Geophysical data model and Geochemical data model of Lanzhou urban active fault surveying project are designed and presented at the first time in this paper based on spatial data model implement method and technology scheme, using CASE tools and Geodatabase data model, especially such as ArcInfo UML Model. At the same time, database structure table of the active fault surveying project information system is implemented in detail according to the application of professional data models. Then, the active fault surveying information management system is established based on the ArcGIS Engine and there are many functions to be realized, which are data query and display about the geography information Seismic-geology investigate data, geophysical exploration information and geochemical data and so on, data share, network security, system management and exploration data 3D structure expression.
