This thesis made use of Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA marker to analysis of genome DNA among Chrysolophus amherstiae, Chrysolophus pictus, Syrmaticus reevesii, Syrmaticus ellioti, Phasianus colchicus and a crossbreed population whose female parent is Chrysolophus pictus and male parent is Syrmaticus reevesii.Genetic distance was calculated. The results were summarized as follows:The average genetic distance among six populations was between 0.1795 and 0.4388. Genetic distance between Chrysolophus amherstiae and Chrysolophus pictus is the nearest. But Phasianus colchicus and the crossbreed population is the furthest. The genetic distance between the crossbreed population and female parent is further than the distance between it and male parent. And the affinity between Phasianus and Chrysolophus was distant, while Syrmaticus was close to Phasianus.Information data was statistically analyzed with spss.13.0 software. Phylogenetic picture was constructed among six populations. From the picture, we can make out which were clustered two branchs. One branch is the Phasianus colchicus population, which was the most peripheral. The other is made up of Chrysolophus amherstiae, Chrysolophus pictus, Syrmaticus reevesii, Syrmaticus ellioti and the crossbreed population .
