Luminescence is the phosphorescence emission by minerals, it has been extensive used for the measurement of age of the Quaternary Period ever since it was found, its key consists in the equivalent dose for measuring; and proceeded a large quantity application in the geology, study of ancient relics etc. It has the Thermo Luminescence and Optical Luminescence for the different stimulated ways. Selected Frequency Luminescence is that the frequency be able selected to stimulate, the releasing photons are recorded by different frequency detection and so the characteristic frequency photons of the mineral will be using to. The BG2003 luminescent spectrograph can receive the photons of 12 frequencies at the same time, the wave-length scope distinguishes rate as in 280-500nm, to probe into sub- frequency the ±2 nm .So when choose the stimulated energy the certain at the same time make sure the characteristic frequency of the eradiate photons, both for a mineral is constant. Therefore, Selected Frequency Luminescence is to stimulating the sample with the selected energy and receives the photons with divided frequency, it is a characteristic frequency of the mineral will be using to choose the mineral.Selected Frequency Luminescence has been developed on the foundation of luminescence dating, We dealt with 9 kinds of deserts sand sample from different locations and got the luminescence spectra, In order to find out the relationship of the location at the spectrograph. The results: Use the H2SiF6 to treated the samples with the red light to stir up we can get from the 350nm to 500nm wave-length, that the 9 kinds of deserts sand sample is divided into 3 groups: YueYaQuan and FuKangXi is in a group; KeLaMaYi, ShaWanHuangLiang and ShanSan are in a group, according to, YaDang is lain between these two. FenNing and ZhangBei are in a group; plentiful to is close by with a diagram for TianMo.In addition, I did basic experiment including seeking the equivalent dose with the single piece to do a few samples; demarcated the eradiate system of laboratory and proceeded the system mark settles, computing the Dose Rate of source.
