Study On Economic Valuation Of Wild Plant Resources

As important nature resources, wild plant resources has been used irrelevantly for a long time. Some values of it are utilized in excess, while others are recognized insufficiently, which makes the quantity and the quality of it decline obviously, and impacts the protection and utilization. Based on the literature summarization and analysis, the philosophical theories and the composition of the value of wild plant resources were put forward and the value assessment indexes systems were established. At the same time, a case was studied.Taking Nianzhu forest region of Dagang Mountain in Jiangxi province as the case, a practical approach was attempted and realized in the paper. The results showed the value of Nianzhu forest region, the value of forest community types and the value of wild plant species, which were satisfactory.The conclusion displayed that the assessment indexes systems and the calculated methods were scientific and feasible, and could provide some approaches for the relevant researches.
