As one branch of geosciences visualization,geological visualization is based on the reflection border and feature data of geological bodies (Chiefly is that geophysical inversion result data and the mine project data),by the compute technique simulates geological surface geometry feature and geological bodies' interior characteristics.it reappears clearly real three dimensions of geological bodies' constitute by graphics and image,analyse spatial figure and interior attribute and depict the resources distribution state.it is a importance proof simulated the trial mining.Geological visualization methods on how to mapping the geometry data by data numeric value.that is,how establish the scientific data geometries model.In terms of the data structure,this paper design a hybrid data model system to meet with 3D spatial data express of mine.A general process of geological bodies visualization modeling and the methods on deal with typical tectonics modeling were given.To better the model,the paper try to provide the idea of itself or optimize some methods in the course of modeling and realize it .its results meet the anticipate acquire.The innovative and exploratory work in this research can be summarized as follows.(1) Before analyses mining and geology conceptual model,the paper, takes into account it own different geology appearance features,proposes a vector and grid data model and designs data structure,which relatively integrated express relationship of spatial objects on geometry and toplogy.(2) Make a summary of geological bodies surface modeling methods,which including singular value surface compose method, inner bodies grid peel off surface method and the reconstruction method based on the outward curve of geological bodies,in addtion, the heuristic extend surface method.(3) To the key based on the outward curve reconstruction of geological bodiesmethod--construct triangle surface between the adjacent sections,the paper userestrictive conditions to optimize the shorcut diagonal line method.(4) In the grid methods of geological bodies geometric model,take actual mine situation into account,giving a solving scheme on bodies scattered grid brings to the border effect.(5) Giving some valid modeling solutions to several special geometry tectonics of geological bodies.(6) Establishing 3D visualization model of a certain mine geological bodies in western Chian, followed by analysis of model.
