With the constant improvement of the geological exploration technology requirements, geological research has trend of the deep, complicated and three-dimensional. The true 3D visualization of geological body plays an important role on geological research and becomes an emerging discipline areas, which is based on geological exploration data, using the computer technology and the theory and methods of computer graphics to truly represent three-dimensional structure and space form of the geological body(such as strata, rocks, etc.), convenient for people to carry out the correlation analysis of the geological characteristic and the internal attribute of the space, providing decision support for engineering geological exploration. In this paper, I study systematically the current research and the method of 3D geological modeling theory, and then study the present situation of the common geological data structrue, proposing a rapid modeling method based on sparse drilling sampling point,which mainly puts forward the theory of longitudinal and transverse bidirectional virtual borehole.Stratigraphic classification and the interpolation for anisotropic geological research and application are involved in the modeling process. In his paper I also study the complex geological modeling,then propose strata cross reconstruction method and discrimination of mutations in the geological structure based on statistics.The aim of last part of the building model is to stduy cross-validation and heterogeneous data to verify the build quality of the model. Finally, based on VTK,using MATLAB in the data organization,I realize the visualization of the corresponding model and provide a engineering example for reference, including of the construction of the drilling database in detail.
