The present paper is taxonomic study on Chinese Nemouridae (Plecoptera). The paper is divided into four parts: introduction, summarize, material and methods, and taxonomy. In summarize, the research history of taxonomy and phylogeny, biology and economic importance on the Nemouridae are reviewed; the taxonomic characters are outlined; the higher classification and phylogeny in the whole order and the family are briefly reviewed. Finally, based on the examination of over 1000 specimens from Shaanxi province, Yunnan province, Sichuan province etc., in China, a total of 27 species representing 5 genera is described. Among them, 13 species are described as new to science. The keys are presented to facilitate the identification of the taxonomic taxa, including subfamilies, genera and species.New species:1.
