Data Integration Of Spatial Data Warehouse

This paper is concerned with data integration of spatial data warehouse. Firstly, it points out that there inevitably exists heterogeneity among attribute data when organizing data warehouse and then brings forward the technique to transform data in heterogeneous database. Secondly, it describes the method of employing object-relationship pattern to manage spatial data and discusses its features and implementation strategies. In addition, it analyzes and compares the implementation approaches and mechanisms of Oracle Spatial and ArcSDE, which are the two techniques to manage spatial data based on the pattern. Thirdly, it respectively expounds the features and architectures of spatial data warehouse and distributed spatial database, concludes that they are uniform in reality although they seems to be opposite and then presents a model of distributed spatial data warehouse. Finally, taking the construction of spatial data warehouse in the project of "Digital Fujian" as an example, it puts forward the scheme to implement data integration of spatial data warehouse.
