Taxonomic Studies On Lophiostomataceae Sacc. In Xinjiang

A floristic investigation has been conducted on the Lophiostomataceae fungi in Xinjiang,Two hundred and ten specimen collected has been examined in the present study.They belong to seventeen species and eight varieties of two genera.forteen species and seven varieties of the genus Lophiostoma,three species and seven varieties of the genus Lophiotrema are treated.Among them,two species are proposed as new taxa,viz.: Lophiostoma shanghaisis Zhao Z-Y & Liu Kai-Hongï¼›Lophiotrema wutaishansis Zhao Z-Y & Liu Kai-Hong.five species are recorded for the first time from Xinjiang and China,viz.: Lophiostoma vicinellum Saccï¼›Lophiostoma quadrinucleatum Karstï¼›Lophiostoma alpigenum Fuckelï¼›Lophiotrema nucula Saccï¼›Lophiotrema auctum Sacc.forty four host plants are recorded for the first time.Every species has been described and illustrated in detail.Geographical distribution is followed and Latin diagnosis is given for the new taxa.
