Research On The Change Of Energy Consumption And Its Relationships To Economy And Climate

This thesis summarizes a series of estimating indexes,computing technologies and models which have been formed in studing the impact of climate change on energy consumption in the recent 50 years. To counter the problems that still exists in this research field, it chooses China and America as research objects which are respectively representatives of the developing countries and the developed countries. It brings the crop output-separating theory and method in the study of the influence of climate change on agriculture to this feild. It also goes further into the relation and its changes of energy consumption to ecnomy and climate of China and America with the method of statistical analysis.According to the change charactoritics of energy compuption,we can divide it into social ecnomies energy consumption and climate energy consumption in the way of multionial. It draws the following conclusions by analying the relation and its changes of social ecnomies energy consumption and ecnomy,climate energy consumption and climate factors. The characteristics of energy consumption structure of a country generally depend on the factors,such as the natural resource endowment,energy strategy,ecnomy,science and technology,etc.No matter in developing countries or developed countries, there is always a extremly close relation between energy consumption trend quantity and ecnomie level. Additionally, the relationship also relates to ecnomic level. The relationship of different kind energy consumption trend quantity and ecnomy varies because of different countries and areas. In theinfuture,the relation of high quality and high efficient kind energy to ecnomy will be closer.The climate factor is defferent which cause energy consumption fluctuating of China and America. Temperature is a main factor of influencing American energy consumption fluctuating, while drought and waterlogging calamity are ones in China.Temperature has been a sensitive climate factor of influencing the American energy consumption all the time. But in China it is difTerent,before in the 1980s drought and waterlogging was a sensitive climate factor,since the eighties,the contribution of temperture on energy consumption has increased constantly,while the one of meteorology disasters is being reduced. At present, the inluence of temperature is not very obvious and it is in transition period.Under the background of the global warming,there are similar rssponses in the energy demands of China and the United Stats.The heating-degree days has a droping variation tendency,while the cooling-degree days has a rising one.
