Research On Coordination Between Conservation And Exploitation Of Geological Heritages

Geological heritages are human's precious resources which are formed by the inner and outer-momentum geological function. We can acquire knowledge about earth's history by studying them. Moreover, it embraces enormous economical and social functions in modern times. Recently, We make great progress on study of geological heritage under the impulse of diverse subject that contains geology, tourism and landscape. It is the truth that geopark is available way in which geological heritage can be protected and exploited well. However, under over-tap, geological heritage has been destroyed in some scenes, because it's not reproductive source. Certainly, it is a issue that how geological heritage will be protected and exploited effectively under the system of geopark.Huaying mountain national geopark is located in northeast of Sichuan province which be warranted in 2005 and covers 116.00km2. There are profuse geological heritage resources, especially, many stone forests, Jura-type folds, karst gorges and karst tectonic lakes. They have diverse classes, unique shape, high values that cover study, education and aesthetics. But this geopark is on the primary stage, some problems exist in protection of geological heritage.This article investigates geological heritage resources in Huayin mountain, analyses their geological and landform situation, seizes their character and distributing pattern, then establishes classification after referring to some norms. In addition, the author evaluates situation between conservation and exploitation in qualitative and quantitative aspect, the evaluation result is worse, which influences on protection of geological heritages and construction of geopark. At last, this article takes a series of proposals and measures, in hope of better coordination relation between geological heritages'conservation and exploitation.
