Evaluation And Conservation Of Disaster Geological Heritage

With the construction and development of geoparks, it is very important to consider that the conservation of geological heritage within the park and keep it away from the threaten of potential disaster.In recent years, disaster geological heritage is increasingly affected by social concerns by frequent geological disasters.Since the disaster geological heritage has both elements of geological heritage and geohazard,we should evacuate it scientific and reasonable.It is very important to obtain a comprehensive evaluation of the geological information by different evaluation methods in the same geological object. As the first geopark to the theme of earthquake geology,Qingchuan earthquake ruin geopark has not only the common construction problem,but also faces the opportunities and challenges to protect disaster geopark.People should evacuate the geological heritage which has the risk of geohazard by combining conservation with management to deal with the hidden danger.This paper traces the main lines of disaster geological heritage and systematic elaborates the status of protection and regulation of geological heritage and geohazard while making the review and comparative study of evaluation methods.It says that the main index can generally be classified as the natural conditions,the tourism value and the geological environment of geological heritage.This paper not only evacuates the geological heritage in Qingchuan geopark,but also analyzes the predisposing factors of geological hazards.It considers that the main triggers are earthquake,short-term precipitation and inappropriate construction and resources development.Finally this paper makes a conclusion to the evaluation and conservation of disaster geological heritage by the case of Qingchuan Geopark.
