Objective:To explore the expression pattern of an unknown function Gene mRNA(HOM-NHL-21)of its homologous genes in rat, probe into the evolution and function of this hypothesis protein by initial. Methods:Procedure of nucleotid blast had been used in series similarity contrasting to inquest the homologous genes of rat, which relative data search from GenBank sequence library. Technology of Reverse Transcription- Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR)had been used to detect the expression of the gene in rats. Results:The expression of mRNA of the gene in rats had been found in testis, pallium, mesencephalon, bulbus medullae, cerebellum, and suprarenal gland, while others tissue hadn't been found, include olfactory bulb, hippocamp, basal nucleus, pons cerebelli, spinal cord, skeletal muscle, tongue, liver, large intestine, small intestine, lung, kidney, bladder, eyeball and heart tissue. Conclusion:The expression pattern of mRNA(HOM-NHL-21) has hint specified biological activety and physiologyic function of genes, which present specificitly only in part of brain and suprarenal gland.
