Coenosiini belongs to order Diptera, family Muscidae, subfamily Coenosiinae. This tribe is world-wide in distribution, with 29 valid genera. There are 10 valid genera in China. In this study, the phylogenetic relationships among world genera of Coenosiini and geographic distribution of Coenosiini were investigated. The analysis involved two primary genera:Coenosia and Lispocephala. Keys to the two genera were provided. Geographic distribution of Coenosiini in China were listed. Distribution map of Lispocephala in zoogeographic realms firstly were provided. This dissertation firstly investigates the phylogenetic relationships among species-groups of Coenosia by adult male morphological characters. The 118 Chinese Coenosia species were divided into 10 species-group and 6 species-subgroup.11 new status were proposed namely, Coenosia mollicula-group, Coenosia griseiventris-group, Coenosia brunneipennis-group, Coenosia pedella-group, Coenosia scissura-group, Coenosia albicornis-subgroup, Coenosia flavipenicillata-subgroup, Coenosia hirsutiloba-subgroup, Coenosia pudorosa-subgroup, Coenosia changjiang-subgroup, Coenosia longipeda-subgroup. Model of male terminalia of Coenosia was provided. Hennig's work, which has made the greatest contribution to the classification of Coenosia, is developed. There are 36 adult male morphological characters used in the cladistic analysis of genus Coenosia. This dissertation firstly investigated the phylogenetic relationships among species-groups of Coenosia using PAUP 4.0 and MacClade 4.0 software.21 new synonymies were firstly proposed.31 new species were described and illustrated. A new name was proposed. Four newly recorded species were given. Coenosia punctifemorata Cui et Wang and Coenosia humilis Meigen,1826 were supplemented and figured. There are about 75000 words,201 illustrations, English brief of each new species in this dissertation. The type specimens of new species are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Shenyang Normal University (IESNU), Shenyang, China.
