With the development of seismic acquisition, the traditional seismic acquisition can not meet with the requirement of target of exploration. So it is time to develop the high density seismic acquisition method. And the high density seismic acquisition has been applied and spreaded during these years. In this thesis, the concept and basic theory of high seismic acquisition were researched. Depending on the critical project of high density seismic acquisition in the west of Lujiapu sink in Inner Mongolia, according to the practical application, do further researching for high density seismic acquisition. During the operation, some valuable experience was summarized. Such as human power and seismic equipment, need much more than traditional method. It isn't suitable to operate. They lead to higher cost of exploration. And it is not fit for vibrators to work in winter in north of China and so on. At the aspect of seismic data processing, because the parameters of source and receiving were varied with the surface ground geological condition changing, the energy of seismic records was not uniform in spatial domain etc. through the analyzing for this project, corresponding measures were thought out to optimizing the high density seismic acquisition method. At last, a suitable high density seismic acquisition method can be found for low ratio of S/N area in Inner Mongolia.
