With the deep development of oil and gas field exploration and the updating of acquisition equipment,the focus of acquisition has been turned into deep and complex ones.Accordingly,the seismic exploration technology has developed to the accurate three dimension exploration with broad azimuth,broadband and high density.Broadband seismic exploration technology is one of the most important approaches to achieve high accuracy seismic exploration.IF the technology is adopted,there are several obvious advantages.For instance,it can improve the ability of acquiring deep and low frequency signal and receive fine resolution and clearer images so that more stratigraphic geological structure will be found and Geophysical Company will be more competitive compared with other companies.To widen the frequency band and acquire more information,the lower receiving spectrum of detectors needs to be covered.After taking the development into consideration,this paper summarizes the operational principle of piezoelectric detector at home and abroad,analyzes and discusses the current dB25-10 Hz piezoelectric detector and refers to the moving-coil geophone technical indicators of SG-5Hz produced by French SERCEL Corporation.In addition,it chooses optimum materials of piezoelectric transducer and impedance matching unit and determines relevant parameters including damping resistance,sensitivity,natural frequency and insulation resistance and etc.Based on these theoretical research and case study,the author take part in designing several types of test product and eventually develops a suitable low frequency piezoelectric detector intended for transition zone,which is tested by the authority unit and field seismic data acquisition.Besides,its detector index and producing process are made and a portable low frequency piezoelectric geophone tester is designed as well.Low frequency piezoelectric detector is the first step to accomplish broadband acquisition,and it lays a solid foundation for future dual detector.
