Food is the head of government,and grain is safe for the world.Challenged by both the epidemic and the disaster,the No.1 Central Document of 2022 puts forward "Making stability our top priority",regards modern agricultural science and technology innovation as a steady guarantee for national grain security.With the continuous optimization of China’s innovation environment and the accelerating pace of innovation,"Five-quality linkage and Three-chain synergy" to create high-quality grain projects,promote the cooperative innovation of the grain industry to gradually change from the previous linear model to a networked model of "Multimember participation,Multi-technology collaboration,and Multi-region coordination".Therefore,it is necessary to pay more attention to the cooperative innovation network model and innovative resource allocation in the grain industry,and to rely on cooperative innovation to stabilize grain security,so as to meet the current stage the needs of China’s in-depth promotion of the strategy of "Sustainable farmland use and Innovative application of agricultural technology" and speeding up the process of grain science and technology innovation,help all parties in the grain industry to integrate deeply,and serve the construction of a powerful country in the grain industry.Then,what is the formation mechanism of China’s grain industry cooperative innovation network? What is the current situation and innovation trend of cooperative innovation in the grain industry? With the advancement of time,what changes will be made to the cooperative innovation network of the grain industry,and what is the evolutionary path? How does it affect exploratory innovation performance? These problems need to be solved through theoretical interpretation and empirical verification.This research comprehensively uses literature research,theoretical analysis,qualitative and quantitative analysis methods to explore.Firstly,the composition of the cooperative innovation network in the grain industry is analyzed from three aspects: innovation subject,innovation connection and innovation environment;based on social capital theory,structural hole theory,strong and weak relationship theory,complex network theory and knowledge management theory,the theoretical framework of the cooperative innovation network in the grain industry is constructed;use the three-party evolutionary game method to explore the evolutionary process of multi-agent cooperative innovation equilibrium strategy of enterprises,scientific research units and the government.Secondly,selecting 6089 cooperative patent data of China’s grain industry from 2001 to 2019,taking the innovation members participating in the cooperation and the multi-dimensional cooperative innovation network formed by them as the research objects;with the help of Ucinet,Gephi,Pajek,Netdraw and Arcgis software,from the perspective of organizational dimension,technical dimension and spatial dimension,the dynamic evolution law of the overall structure(macro)and node characteristics(micro)of China’s grain industry cooperative innovation network is revealed.Thirdly,according to the three stages of knowledge management life cycle—knowledge search and acquisition,knowledge transfer and sharing,knowledge creation and application,this research proposes the hypothesis of the relationship between the characteristics of the cooperative innovation network in the grain industry and the performance of exploratory innovation and use the cooperative patent data of 910 innovation members in the grain industry from 2001 to 2019 for empirical testing.Finally,corresponding suggestions are put forward from the perspectives of cooperative innovation network,the decisive role of enterprises,the key role of scientific research units and the basic role of government.The main research conclusions and innovations are as follows:(1)The formation mechanism of China’s grain industry cooperative innovation network is explored.The simulation results show that: Firstly,improving the basic income and reputation income of enterprises leading the cooperative innovation of grain industry and reducing the total cost of enterprises leading the cooperative innovation of grain industry are the decisive factors to promote the formation of cooperative innovation network of grain industry.Secondly,mobilizing the enthusiasm of scientific research units to participate in the cooperative innovation of the grain industry is a key factor to promote the formation of the cooperative innovation network of the grain industry.Thirdly,increasing government subsidies for enterprises to lead cooperative innovation and government subsidies for scientific research units to participate in cooperative innovation are the basic factors to promote the formation of cooperative innovation network in the grain industry.The research analyzes the logical process of the formation of China’s grain industry cooperative innovation network,and reveals the two-way transmission mechanism between government,scientific research units and enterprises,which is unique to China’s grain industry cooperative innovation network,which is conducive to enriching and developing grain industry cooperative innovation related theories and promoting the theoretical innovation of the cooperative innovation network of the grain industry.(2)The dynamic evolution law of network structure characteristics is revealed.The results show that: Firstly,the cooperative innovation network of China’s grain industry is affected by both international and domestic markets,and the development of the network is in line with the development of the grain industry;the scale and scope of cooperative innovation network are gradually expanding,showing scale-free characteristics,core-periphery,small-world network and other structures.Secondly,enterprises,scientific research units,government and other members in China’s grain industry respectively act as leaders,bridges,supporters and serves;the key technologies are A23 L food processing,A23 K feed processing and A01 G cultivation,the hot technologies are F26 B drying,G01 N measurement and testing and A01 C planting and fertilization,and A01 N is the focus of continuous technology integration;the core area is the main grain production areas and the main grain marketing areas,while the participation of the grain production and marketing balance areas is low;network differences are gradually expanding,and network power is not centralized,which is conducive to the development of cooperative innovation in the grain industry.Thirdly,within China’s grain industry cooperative innovation network,various types of nodes pay more and more attention to cross-border cooperation,but the development of different nodes is unbalanced,and the cooperation efficiency between nodes shows a trend from changeable to steady improvement.Fourthly,the heterogeneity of nodes in China’s grain industry cooperative innovation network and the multi-party nature of cooperation modes have gradually increased.The research broadens the research dimension of cooperative innovation network in grain industry,and expands the existing research on cooperative innovation network structure and external characteristics.(3)The influence of China’s grain industry network characteristics on the performance of exploratory innovation is verified.The results show that: Firstly,there is a U-shaped relationship between the center position/relationship depth of cooperative innovation network of grain industry organizations and exploratory innovation performance.Secondly,there is a positive relationship between the brokered position/relationship breadth of cooperative innovation network of grain industry organizations and exploratory innovation performance.Thirdly,when the organizational/technical/spatial diversification of innovation members is strong,the U-shaped relationship between the central position and the exploratory innovation performance becomes flat,and the turning point moves to the left;the positive relationship between brokered location or relationship breadth and exploratory innovation performance is enhanced;the U-shaped relationship between relationship depth and exploratory innovation performance becomes steep,and the turning point moves to the left.The research reveals the influence mechanism of the evolution of internal and external cooperative innovation network characteristics of grain industry on exploratory innovation performance and provides a new theoretical interpretation perspective and empirical evidence for the research on the influence of the cooperative innovation network in the grain industry. |
