| Since the end of the 20th century,with the rapid development of information technology such as computer and Internet and its wide application in various fields of society,human society has gradually entered the information age.The advent of the information age has not only brought unprecedented changes to various social fields such as communication,production,trade and education,but also had a profound impact on people’s lifestyle,behavior habits,thinking mode,interpersonal communication,entertainment and learning activities.For teenagers living in the information age,these changes and influences have also become the objective reality they will inevitably face in the process of spiritual growth.In particular,with the development and wide application of mobile Internet and artificial intelligence,the possible impact on Teenagers’ spiritual growth has begun to arouse the concern and thinking of educators and parents.This paper holds that spiritual growth is an important part of the all-round development of teenagers.Without spiritual growth,there can be no all-round development of teenagers.In addition,adolescence is the key period of individual spiritual growth.During this period,due to physiological development and special physical changes,individuals began to mature in spirit.However,the direction and extent of teenagers’ spiritual development depends not only on their own factors,but also on the influence of external factors such as education.Therefore,in the information age,especially when the information age brings new challenges to the spiritual growth of teenagers,it is necessary to pay attention to and strengthen the spiritual education of teenagers.So,what challenges has the information age brought to the spiritual growth of teenagers?In the information age,what are the problems in the spiritual growth of teenagers?In view of the problems existing in teenagers’ spiritual growth,what educational measures should schools take to promote teenagers’ spiritual growth?This paper takes these problems as the starting point,and is committed to studying and solving these problems.The main content of this paper includes three parts.The first part(Chapter one and chapter two)is the exploration of theory.This part makes an in-depth theoretical exploration and summary of the core concepts and basic problems such as the meaning of spirit,the connotation of spiritual growth,the internal mechanism of spiritual growth,the law of spiritual growth,the characteristics of teenagers’ spiritual growth and the value of teenagers’spiritual growth from the perspective of philosophy and Pedagogy.This paper holds that spiritual growth is a process in which individuals internalize the internal meaning relationship between themselves and various internal and external influencing factors,and gradually move towards an independent spiritual realm.Spiritual growth is embodied in the broadening and enrichment of the spiritual world,the improvement of the spiritual realm,the enhancement of spiritual independence,the clarity of spiritual direction,the improvement of spiritual life ability and so on.Teenagers’spiritual growth has unique characteristics,which are mainly reflected in:Teenagers’ spiritual growth enters a special turning period due to physiological development and changes;The continuous improvement of socialization level makes the spiritual growth of teenagers enter a fast channel;The effect of external factors such as interpersonal communication and culture on Teenagers’ spiritual growth has become more and more prominent;Young people’s spiritual growth has greater plasticity and development space;Teenagers’ spiritual growth process is easily disturbed;The mental characteristics of teenagers began to take shape.For teenagers,spiritual growth is of great value.Specifically,the value of spiritual growth to teenagers is mainly reflected in:spiritual growth is an important symbol of teenagers’ growth;Spiritual growth is an important support for the development of teenagers’ moral quality;Spiritual growth is an important guarantee for teenagers’ academic success and a better life;Spiritual growth is an important source of teenagers’ life significance.In addition to discussing the above contents,this part also combs and analyzes the basic viewpoints of educational theories that help teenagers’ spiritual growth,such as Waldorf educational theory,humanistic educational theory and subject education theory,and studies their enlightenment and significance to teenagers’ spiritual education.The second part(Chapter 3 and Chapter 4)is the analysis of the problem.This part analyzes the challenges,current situation and existing problems faced by teenagers’ spiritual growth in the information age from both theoretical and empirical perspectives.Firstly,this part makes a theoretical analysis and believes that the information age brings some challenges to the spiritual growth of teenagers.Specifically,under the background of the information age,the rapid rise of new media,the excessive informatization of education,the modern transformation of traditional culture,cultural globalization,the virtualization of growth environment,the proliferation of electronic products and other phenomena have brought challenges to the spiritual growth of teenagers in different degrees and levels.Then,this part makes an empirical analysis on the current situation and existing problems of teenagers’ spiritual growth under the background of the information age through questionnaires and interviews.Through empirical analysis,this paper holds that teenagers’ beliefs and life pursuit are healthy and correct on the whole.Teenagers also clearly realize that everyone is the master and creator of their own life.However,this paper also finds that there are still some problems in teenagers’spiritual growth.These problems mainly include:Teenagers’ world outlook is vague,and their faith and life pursuit are not firm enough;Teenagers’ spiritual autonomy and firmness are not strong enough;Teenagers’ self-awareness is not clear enough and their self-confidence is not strong enough;Teenagers lack strong ability of spiritual life.In order to better solve the problems existing in teenagers’ spiritual growth,this paper also makes an in-depth analysis of the causes of the problems.Through analysis,this paper holds that these problems in teenagers’ spiritual growth may have the following reasons:surfing the Internet and frequent use of electronic products have become the key external factors affecting teenagers’ spiritual growth;Teenagers’ bad habits in study and life have become potential hidden dangers affecting their spiritual growth;The lack of attention from families and schools to teenagers’ spiritual growth has become an educational factor affecting teenagers’spiritual growth.The third part(Chapter 5),countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problems.Based on the analysis of the existing problems and their causes,this part further studies and puts forward educational countermeasures to effectively promote the spiritual growth of teenagers.These educational countermeasures mainly include:strengthening the spiritual education of teenagers;Effectively deal with the potential risks and problems in the development of education in the information age;Deal with several relations in the development of education in the information age;Correctly understand and grasp the main position of students in education in the information
