At present,China’s urban development has shifted from incremental construction to both stock upgrading and incremental structural adjustment.According to the statistics of the Ministry of housing and urban rural development,there are nearly 170000 old communities in China,and the old communities with a building age of more than 20 years account for about 40%.The old community is not only the main component of the urban stock,but also related to the people’s livelihood.The national government attaches great importance to the common problem of low housing conditions and living environment quality.The general office of the State Council proposes to vigorously transform and improve old urban residential areas in accordance with the requirements of high-quality development.In recent years,the rapid increase of car ownership has brought a great impact on the living environment of old communities.The static traffic space of the community "see seam parking" makes the community have no place for public greening and activities.The dynamic traffic space is also occupied by parking,and the congestion caused by the unmet demand of the original roads is very common,which has seriously affected the living space and environmental quality of the old community.Therefore,it is necessary and urgent to explore the integrated renewal design method of the traffic space of the old community,which is of great value and significance to improve the overall space and environmental quality of the old community.This study selects the unit type old community which is the main body of the old community in Xi’an as the research object,and systematically studies the type of unit type old community and its dynamic traffic space and static traffic space.The research content is divided into three parts:Firstly,the research studies traffic space type division and current situation characteristics of unit old community.First and foremost,based on the current situation investigation,the types of unit old residential areas are divided from the perspective of traffic space primarily.In terms of dynamic traffic space,it is divided into three categories:spanning type,integral type and embedded type based on the spatial location relationship between the community and the block.In terms of static traffic space,it is divided into self-sufficient type,dependent type and transitional type based on the dependence of the parking space of the old community on the parking space of the block.Next,aiming at the main problems existing in the current situation of dynamic and static traffic space in different types of unit type old residential areas,by analyzing the current situation characteristics and main influencing factors of traffic space,this paper creatively constructs the evaluation system of current situation characteristics of traffic space in unit old community by using analytic hierarchy process.13 indicators are used to evaluate the static traffic space of the old community.It includes four aspects: the quantity of parking space,the distribution of parking space,the use efficiency of parking space and the type of parking space.12 indicators are used to evaluate the dynamic traffic space of the old community.It includes four aspects: road network structure,human and vehicle traffic organization,road space and entrance and exit space.Secondly,the research studies the construction of technical framework for traffic space renewal and integration in unit old community.First and foremost,the spatial syntax is used to analyze the axis network of block roads and the relationship between roads and community public space.By establishing the axis model,line segment model and convex space model,the dynamic and static current traffic space of the old community is analyzed,and the traffic space problem is diagnosed.Next,using principal component analysis and multiple regression analysis,the parking demand prediction model is established to predict and analyze the parking demand of enterprise type and university type old residential areas,and the short-term and long-term static traffic space requirements of different types of old residential areas are obtained.And then,based on the current characteristics of close connection and mutual influence between the traffic space of the community and the block,as well as the possibility of collaborative optimization between the community and the block,this paper creatively puts forward the planning and design concept of "joint operation,joint construction and sharing" to solve problems under the guidance of block integration.Finally,under this concept,based on the current situation analysis and current situation characteristic evaluation of unit type old community,combined with the technical means of parking demand prediction model construction and spatial syntax analysis,this paper creatively puts forward the technical framework of traffic space renewal and integration of unit old community.Thirdly,the research studies optimization design method and case study of traffic space in unit old community.First and foremost,drawing on the relevant theories of residential renewal,residential traffic planning,residential traffic space design and the experience and wisdom of excellent cases of integrated design of domestic and foreign traffic space renewal,this paper discusses the countermeasures and methods to solve the problems: six optimization methods are proposed in terms of static traffic and five optimization methods are proposed in terms of dynamic traffic.Next,according to the dynamic and static traffic space of different types of old residential areas,this paper puts forward corresponding optimization countermeasures from the level of residential areas and blocks.Finally,combined with two typical practical cases of dependence type and self-sufficiency type,the renewal integration technology framework and dynamic and static traffic optimization design methods are applied to carry out empirical research.The research results are expected to supplement the theory of residential traffic space planning and design,provide direct guidance for the solution of traffic space problems in Xi’an old community and the improvement of living space environmental quality,and have theoretical guidance and practical reference significance for the overall transformation of other old communities in China and the improvement of living space environmental quality. |
