Research On The Design Of Public Space Reconstruction In Old Community Based On The Concept Of Organic Renweal

The old community studied in the article mainly refers to the community that was built in the 1980 s and covers an area of 10 to 35 hectares.These old communities are mostly located in the center of the city,with convenient transportation and excellent location.Its public space usually has multiple problems such as backward infrastructure,lack of public facilities,shortage of parking spaces,and unsuccessful roads.Therefore,the transformation of the public space of the old community is imperative.The old community public space,as an important part of urban space and witness to urban development,as well as the space carrier of the daily activities and human emotions of community residents,has its own profound historical and cultural values.The community renewal model of large-scale demolition and construction often leads to a series of problems such as urban memory loss,urban texture disorder,community culture subsidence,spatial vitality decay,neighborhood relationship is cold,community residents’ sense of security and sense of belonging are reduced.Therefore,we should use the small,gradual and sustainable organic renewal model to transform the old community,enhance the quality of the community’s space environment,continue the public memory of the residents,reshape the spirit of the community,and achieve humanistic care.Based on urban planning and architectural design,the article comprehensively uses the theory of place spirit and the theory of external space to start from the aspects of plane texture,spatial structure,functional composition,spatial interface,spatial form and community culture.The current situation of space is studied.Afterwards,based on the theory of organic renewal,based on the original spatial structure,the fundamental goal of repairing urban texture,continuing community culture,and optimizing the material environment of the community is from the urban texture restoration,the gradual progress of community transformation,and the organic history.Four aspects of public participation in continuation and transformation optimize the public space environment of the old community.The full text is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part,which mainly introduces the research background,purpose,significance and method of the thesis,as well as the research summary at home and abroad.The second chapter defines the concepts of old communities and public spaces and organic renewal,analyzes the basic characteristics of old communities and public spaces,and sorts out the supporting theories of the papers.The third chapter expounds the support theory in the thesis.The fourth chapter selects three representative old communities for on-the-spot investigation,conducts a detailed analysis of their public space,and summarizes the general problems of the public space of the old community.The fifth chapter combines research theory and research and analysis,and proposes the transformation principle and transformation method with public space as the entry point.The sixth chapter applies the principles and methods of community public space transformation to the transformation of the new Guidong community through practice to verify the feasibility of the transformation method.The seventh chapter summarizes the shortcomings of this paper and proposes the prospect of subsequent research.
