As the national economy changes from high-speed growth to high-quality development, public health has gradually become one of the most concerning topics in this era.As the future and hope of the motherland, the health status of primary and secondary school students is related to the future of the country.Building a healthy campus has also become an important link to the national development strategy. However, the lack of healthy campus design theory and practice has left some hidden dangers to students’ health.Students’ vision level, physical level, posture, and psychological status are not optimistic, and the health situation is very serious. With the change in national population policy and the increasing degree gap, primary and secondary schools will also usher in a new round of construction or reconstruction and expansion boom.At present,it is not only an inevitable trend but also urgent to carry out healthy campus research. Therefore, this dissertation focuses on the relationship between primary and secondary school space environment and students’ health, pays attention to the influence mechanism between "space environment-health promotion",reveals the action principle, influence path, leading factors, and effect intensity, and connects the abstract concept of health with the specific factors of the spatial environment. On this basis,it condenses and summarizes the health promotion-oriented optimization design principles and corresponding design strategies of primary and secondary schools, and seeks the best way to realize health promotion by using architectural design means,to guide the specific practice for healthy campus. To achieve the above objectives, this dissertation draws lessons from the theories and methods of preventive medicine in the research of the relationship between environment and health, integrates the concept of group health, the concept of risk management, and the concept of modern medicine into the research of "space environment-health promotion" impact mechanism in primary and secondary schools, and follows the logic of "clarifying health problems, screening relevant elements, identifying impact factors, analyzing impact mechanism and putting forward design strategies".Through the combination of qualitative and quantitative, theoretical and empirical methods, the research is carried out in the following four aspects.Firstly,by analyzing the health problems of primary and secondary school students, clarify the health promotion demands of primary and secondary school students, and build the influence path between spatial environment and students’ health from the theoretical level through literature evidence-based.Secondly,through the combination of literature evidence-based and typological research, extract the health-related elements in the space environment of primary and secondary schools, and then use the health risk assessment method to analyze the survey data of the scale to identify the health impact factors.Thirdly, according to the preset structural equation model of the impact path obtained from the literature evidence-based,the model is fitted and modified by using the data of the scaling survey to determine the impact path and effect between the health impact factors and health problems, analyze the impact mechanism between "space environmenthealth promotion",and verify it through the field measurement, behavior observation and other empirical means of the built environment of primary and secondary schools.Fourthly, based on the research on the impact mechanism, the design principles are condensed from the perspective of the whole process of construction, the key elements are integrated from the way of space environment affects health, and the design strategies are summarized.Based on the above research, this dissertation has obtained a series of innovative achievements, mainly including: firstly, the composition of the relevant elements of the "space environment-health promotion" impact mechanism in primary and secondary schools has been determined, and the health impact factors that have a significant role have been identified, and the health problems affected by the space environment have been clarified.Secondly,a multi-level "space environment-health promotion" impact mechanism model is constructed, and the impact paths and effects among health impact factors, between a single health problem and multiple health impact factors, and between multiple health problems and multiple health impact factors are determined in turn.Based on this, the characteristics of "space environment-health promotion" are summarized.Thirdly,it establishes the priority sequence of health promotion objectives and the effect sequence of health impact factors in the space environment, analyzes the key spatial nodes and elements in the design of primary and secondary schools, and puts forward the corresponding design optimization principles and strategies. In summary, this dissertation systematically explored the impact mechanism of "space environment-health promotion" in primary and secondary schools from the perspective of preventive medicine, expanded the theoretical research scope and technical method system of healthy campus design, and touched on the relationship between space environment and students’ health, established a subjective and objective correlation, and made up for the lack of research on the relationship between space environment and health effects,By comprehensively using multi-disciplinary research methods, the research on the relationship between space environment and user health in traditional architecture has been promoted from qualitative descriptive analysis to quantitative inferential analysis, and verified through the combination of theory and demonstration, which has improved the accuracy and reliability of the research.
