With ongoing population growth and rapid socio-economic development,water consumption has been constantly increasing,which has become a crucial national challenge in China.The high-efficiency and optimal operation of water resources is important to achieve regulated rational utilization,and resolve the issues associated with water resources shortage.The related research is significant in both theory and practice.Inspired by the supply chain concepts,a new water resources optimization model was established in this work.The adaptive artificial fish swarm algorithm was adoted and adapted to solve the defects of premature convergence of the basic algorithm.Finally,the improved algorithm was applied to optimize water resources allocation,with satisfied results obtained.The main tasks of this work are outlined as follows:(1)The water resources scheduling and the supply chain management related theory and the traditional methods were introduced and comprehensively reviewed.The status quo of water resources scheduling was analysed including home and abroad.And the characteristics of water resources scheduling based on supply chain thought are expounded.(2)To overcome the shortcomings of the traditional water resources scheduling methods,a new approach based on the artificial fish swarm algorithm was introduced.The basic algorithm was further improved using an adaptive adjustment strategy.The chaos theory was adopted to improve the quality of the initial solution.Then,the mechanism of ant colony algorithm was introduced to realize the adaptive adjustment of artificial fish algorithm.Finally,the capability of the improved artificial fish swarm algorithm was verified by Travelling Salesman Problem(TSP).(3)Water resources optimization scheduling in Handan city water supply optimal scheduling example was analyzed respectively by using the proposed methods.The result demonstrated the validity,robustness of the model and the efficiency of the proposed adaptive algorithm.(4)Considering flood mitigation through multi-scale scheduling,the "7·19 " flood in Handan city was analyzed.The adaptive artificial fish swarm algorithm was introduced to expand the water optimal operation scale.Thereby,the application effectiveness in the flood scheduling of the adaptive artificial fish swarm algorithm was verified.(5)Considering the low scheduling efficiency and cascade generation of Daluoyuan reservoir,Koushang reservoir,Siliyan reservoir and Chegu reservoir in Handan,the objective function was established.The idea provided a new thought of optimal cascade reservoirs.As a su mmary,this work established a water resource optimization model based on an adaptive artificial fish algorithm.The practicability and superiority of the new method was verified by different applications.This work has provided new ideas and methodology for the optimization of water resources scheduling problems.
