| In the age of globalization and information,information and communication technology has penetrated into all areas of social life and has an important impact on cities and people’s lives.After high-speed urbanization,most cities are undergoing renewal and reconstruction of urban internal functional spaces.What kind of changes have taken place in the functional spaces of cities,how different types of functional spaces interact,what are the paths of influence,what are the main current issues of functional spaces,and how to improve and optimize the spatial quality all urgently need to be systematically studied.However,existing studies mostly focus on the characteristics of a single type of city’s functional space,and lack long-term continuous dynamic research.The research objects are mostly focused on economically developed coastal cities,and lack of in-depth research on the internal functional space of cities in central region.Therefore,taking Changsha as an object,researching the evolution characteristics of its functional space based on long-term data and proposing optimization suggestions are important for enriching the theoretical research of urban functional space in central region and realizing the optimization and upgrading of functional space.This article is based on the urban land use data of Changsha at multiple times,the statistical yearbook data of multiple years,the socio-economic development report,the city’s multi-version master plan and the city’s multi-sectoral information,2020 Gaode POI data,2020 Anjuke website data and other multi-source data,taking the downtown area of Changsha as the research object,from the perspective of multi-disciplinary integration of geography,urban and rural planning,sociology,etc.,carry out a qualitative and quantitative systematic study of the evolution of urban functional space in the information age.The main research contents are as follows:First of all,based on the combination of Hiscite and Citespace literature scientific measurement software and traditional literature reading methods,the content and results of domestic and foreign city-related research in the information age are summarized and compared,and it is found that the domestic urban functional space research results based on the background of the information age are in number,Depth,breadth,scope,etc.,to determine the proposition and research object of this research,define the concept and research scope of urban functional space in the information age,and sort out the relevant theories of the research.The second part based on multi-source data,a systematic study of the evolution characteristics of the functional space of the downtown area of Changsha from the macro-land use dimension and the micro-level of interest points: the land use dimension is mainly based on urban land use data,statistical data,and urban master planning in multiple historical stages.Data,etc.,using the sectoral fractal method,expansion strength method,circle layer analysis method,nuclear density method,axial belt expansion and other methods.The five aspects summarize the overall evolution of urban functional space,and then the evolution characteristics of residential space,service space,industrial space,and traffic space are studied separately;the point of interest dimension is mainly based on the latest Gaode map POI data and settlement Big data such as guest room source data uses Arc GIS spatial analysis methods and text semantic analysis to interpret the typical features and typical new phenomena of various functional spaces in the city at this stage.The third part uses the methods of land conversion coupling coefficient,nuclear density estimation and hotspot analysis,and constructing public transportation commuter connection index to transform the coupling relationship,the hierarchical structure and network connection of each functional space,and the mixed measurement of urban multi-functionality from the land use of each functional space.The interaction characteristics of urban function space in the information age are studied.The fourth part constructs an index system for comprehensive evaluation of urban functional space quality that adapts to the land space planning reform and new development concepts.And use AHP analytic hierarchy method and entropy weight method to calculate the weight of each index,and finally calculate the score of each index.From the score of each dimension,the ranking of individual indicators,and the spatial difference of the urban functional space quality score,the quality characteristics of the functional space of Changsha are analyzed.In summary,the functional space quality dimension imbalance index is finally constructed to measure the synergy of the multi-dimensional development of functional space quality in different regions.The fifth part studies the influencing factors of the evolution of urban function space in the information age from five aspects: ecological restraint,policy control,economic driving,social boost and information innovation,and draws the driving force of the evolution of the function space in the information
