The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)has included the new type urbanization that places equal emphasis on ecological civilization and high-quality economic development into the national development strategy.Urbanization construction and ecological environment protection are both important directions to build the new type urbanization,and how to coordinate the development of the two is an important subject in front of the new urbanization construction.As an important growth pole leading the economic and social development of northern China,the contradiction between urbanization and ecological environment is becoming more and more prominent.The severe ecological environment situation restricts the high-quality economic development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration.Therefore,achieving a win-win situation between urbanization and ecological environment in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration is the necessary way to build a world-class urban agglomeration.This thesis takes the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration as the research object to study the coupling coordination measurement and upgrading path of urbanization and ecological environment.Firstly,based on the system theory,coordination theory and dynamic theory of urbanization and ecological environment,the theoretical framework of the thesis is constructed from the core characteristics,interaction mechanism,dynamic evolution,factor drive and system characteristics of the coupling coordination between urbanization and ecological environment,which lays a theoretical foundation for the quantitative analysis in the following.Secondly,based on the status quo of urbanization and ecological environment development in BeijingTianjin-Hebei region,and on the basis of clear construction principles of the index system,the coupling coordination index system of urbanization and ecological environment in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was preliminarily constructed.Fuzzy language,OWA algorithm and multicollinearity test method were comprehensively used to select and optimize the index system.On this basis,the weight of each index is determined by using the projection pursuit evaluation method of Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO).Again,based on the statistics data of 13 cities of the BeijingTianjin-Hebei region,using the interactive stress relationship model to verify the relationship between urbanization and ecological environment,using the coordination evaluation model to measure the coupling coordination degree of urbanization and ecological environment,Based on the kernel density model,the dynamic evolution characteristics of the coupling coordination between urbanization and ecological environment in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region were described,and its development trend was predicted by using the spatial Markov chain model.Compared with the traditional Markov chain model,the spatial Markov chain model can describe the spatial effect of the research object.Then,the influencing mechanism of coupling coordination between urbanization and ecological environment in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is analyzed,and the influencing factors of coupling coordination degree in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and 13 cities are studied by using the improved grey correlation model.Finally,the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is regarded as a whole,and the system dynamics model of coupling coordination is constructed.The policy of coupling coordination between urbanization and ecological environment is simulated in four scenarios.According to the simulation results,the optimal path of coupling coordination between urbanization and ecological environment in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is proposed from the perspective of the whole.Fuzzy Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis(fsQCA)is used to get the different modes of improvement of urbanization and eco-environment coupling coordination.The specific research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)The dynamic evolution process of urbanization and ecological environment is also a process of coupling and coordinating change.The theoretical framework of the paper is constructed from the core characteristics,interaction mechanism,dynamic evolution,factor driving and system characteristics of the coupling and coordinating process of urbanization and ecological environment.(2)The integrated use of fuzzy language,OWA algorithm,multicollinearity test method to selection and optimization of index system,using particle swarm optimization of projection pursuit evaluation method to determine the projection value of each index,and then determine the weight of each index,to overcome the traditional method in subjective,not dealing with nonlinear and high dimensional data cannot be applied such as defects.(3)The development index of urbanization and ecological environment in BeijingTianjin-Hebei presents a growing trend,but the urbanization and ecological environment of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is still mutual stress relationship.The coupling coordination degree between urbanization and ecological environment of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region as a whole and each city is increasing,but there is still a certain gap between high-level coordination.The difference of coupling coordination degree between different cities gradually increases,and the difference is relatively obvious.The coupling coordination degree between urbanization and ecological environment presents the characteristics of "high-high" and "low-low" in space.(4)From the perspective of " development index" and "degree of dispersion",the key points of improving the coupling coordination between urbanization and ecological environment in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration are defined.The importance of subsystems affecting the coupling coordination development is in the order of ecological environment pressure subsystem > economic urbanization subsystem > social urbanization subsystem > ecological environment response subsystem.(5)The system dynamics model of coupling coordination between urbanization and ecological environment in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was constructed,and it was concluded that "eco-environment orientation(2020-2022)-collaborative development orientation(2023-2030)" was the optimal path to improve coupling coordination between urbanization and ecological environment in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei city agglomeration.(6)The FSQCA model is used to sort out three different modes to improve the coupling coordination level of urbanization and ecological environment in BeijingTianjin-Hebei Region,and the matching of urban characteristics and upgrading mode is refined and analyzed,and the coupling coordination and upgrading mode of urbanization and ecological environment in each city is proposed.Through the research,this thesis mainly contributes the following points:(1)A theoretical framework for the coupling coordination between urbanization and ecological environment is established,and the indicator system of coupling coordination between urbanization and ecological environment is screened,optimized and weight determined by comprehensive use of fuzzy language,OWA operator,multicollinearity test and particle swarm optimization.This process makes up for the deficiency of index system screening and optimization,and determines the index weight more scientifically and objectively.(2)The interactive stress relationship between urbanization and ecological environment in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was described,and the coupling coordination was measured.The spatio-temporal evolution was studied by using the kernel density function and spatial Markov chain model,and the influence of each system and index on the coupling coordination degree was studied based on the improved grey relational model.This method overcomes the deficiency of analyzing coupling coordination between urbanization and ecological environment from a single perspective,and provides a method reference for comprehensive research on coupling coordination between urbanization and ecological environment.(3)The system dynamics model of coupling coordination between urbanization and ecological environment in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was constructed,the optimal path of coupling coordination promotion was obtained through simulation,and the coupling coordination promotion model of urbanization and ecological environment in 13 cities was proposed by using fsQCA model.Different from the previous research conducted from the whole region or a single city,it provides a new idea for improving the coupling coordination level of urbanization and ecological environment in The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from the perspective of combining the overall regional optimal path with the promotion mode of a single city.
