China is a country with both sea and land,with long coastline and broad strategic interests in the direction of the sea.The ocean has become a key area for the continuation and supplement of land resources,relieving land environmental pressure,supporting and leading domestic economic growth and promoting sustainable and safe development of society.Since the reform and opening up,especially since the strategy of building a powerful maritime power at the 18 th National Congress of the CPC was put forward,China’s marine cause has been developing continuously and has achieved fruitful results.But at the same time,China faces many problems in the field of marine security.Xi Jinping attached great importance to this.He put forward a series of new ideas,new viewpoints and new theories on the work of marine security in China,and accordingly carried out corresponding deployment.This resulted in Xi Jinping’s discussion on China’s marine security.This significant achievement.Through the analysis of the background,ideological basis and realistic conditions of the formation of the achievements,the paper summarizes and sorts out its rich content,specific characteristics and logical structure,summarizes and refines its theoretical contribution and practical significance,which helps to improve China’s attention to marine security work,and to clarify the key and difficult points of marine safety assurance in China,so as to better refer to it China is encouraged to carry out practical activities of marine safety assurance,improve China’s marine safety assurance capacity,and
