Statistical Research On The Impact Of Industrial Transformation And Upgrading On High-quality Economic Development

After more than 30 years of rapid economic growth in China,the factors that support its rapid growth have been fully released.Gradually declined economic growth rate,imbalance of economic structure,insufficient innovation-driven,and low quality and efficiency of economy have become more prominent.China’s economy has entered the key period that it have to transform the development mode,optimize the economic structure,and transform the growth momentum.Based on the key period and the transformation of social principal contradictions in China,standing in a new historical position,taking supply-side structural reforms as the main line,and promoting industrial transformation and upgrading is a fundamental requirement to promote high-quality economic development When determine development ideas and formulate economic policies in current and future period.Therefore,measuring the level of industrial transformation and upgrading,the level of high-quality economic development,and exploring its the impacts have rich and far-reaching theoretical and practical significance for improving the theory of industrial structure and economic high-quality development,and accurately grasping the level of industrial transformation and upgrading and economic development in my country.To this end,the article in-depth and detailed probe into these issues,and the main content is divided into 8 parts.The first chapter is the introduction.This part explains the research background and significance of this article.Based on the review of the existing literature,it puts forward the research ideas and framework,research content and methods,and the contribution and innovation of this article.The second chapter is the theoretical research on industrial transformation and upgrading and high-quality economic development,which lays the theoretical foundation for the follow-up research of this article.In this part,firstly,based on the theory of industrial structure evolution,industrial association theory and industrial structure optimization theory,elaborates and analyzes the connotation,direction and measurement method of industrial transformation and upgrading;Secondly,by analyzing the theory of economic development stages and comparatively analyzing the related theories of economic growth quality and high-quality development,analyze and define the connotation and characteristics of high-quality economic development;Then,based on the industrial structure optimization mechanism theory under the optimal economic growth path,and the industrial structure evolution law under the structuralist economic growth theory,study the impact mechanism of industrial transformation and upgrading to economic high-quality development.The third chapter is the measurement research on the level of industrial transformation and upgrading.This part,first of all,takes advancement and rationalization of industrial structure as the analytical framework to measure the level of industrial transformation and upgrading from structure,efficiency,benefit and integration of industries.It is not only based on the three industries,but also on the more subdivided industries such as manufacturing,producer services,life services,and public services.The results show that the structure of industries does not match its efficiency,and benefit in advancement.The current national economic structure shows obvious service-oriented characteristics,but the production efficiency and benefits of the tertiary industry and the secondary industry are low;The low degree of industry integration and a further downward trend are the basic status of the rationalization of industrial structure.This is mainly due to the low degree of integration of the primary industry and the tertiary industry,and the gradual decline in the integration of the secondary industry and the tertiary industry.Then,on this basis,this paper constructs a comprehensive index--the goodness of industrial structure,to synthetically measure the level of industrial transformation and upgrading.The results show that the level of industrial transformation and upgrading is gradually increasing,but the effects within the three industries are quite different.Among them,the level of transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry is relatively poor compared to the producer service industry and the life service industry.The fourth chapter is the measurement research on the level of high-quality economic development.Based on the connotation and characteristics of high-quality economic development,the article builds an evaluation index system that take power conversion,quality-efficiency improvement and achievement sharing as the framework.The measurement results show that: on the whole,the level of high-quality economic development in my country is gradually improving.In sub-items,first,the old and new driving forces of my country’s economic development are gradually changing.Among them,the digital economy and the service economy have gradually become important driving forces for the high-quality development,but in current the conversion effect of innovation-driven is not good.Second,the quality and efficiency level of economic development in my country is gradually improving,and its speed has accelerated,but the absolute level of production efficiency and quality of life is still relatively low.Third,the sharing of the economic development in my country has gradually increased,and the level of residents’ welfare,especially the equalization of public services,has been greatly improved.Based on the theoretical research and the statistical measurement research of industrial transformation and upgrading and economic high-quality development,the research on the impact of industrial transformation and upgrading on the high-quality economic development is divided into three chapters as follow.The fifth chapter is to construct a time-varying parameter state space model to analyze the time-varying characteristics of the impact of industrial transformation and upgrading on high-quality economic development.The results show that the effect of industrial transformation and upgrading on high-quality economic development presents a long-tailed "L",indicating that this impact is gradually weakening over time.The sixth chapter is to construct a quantile regression model to analyze the heterogeneity of the impact that industrial transformation and upgrading promote economic development under its different quality levels.The results show that at different levels of economic development quality,the impact of industrial transformation and upgrading on economic development quality are significantly different.When the quality of economic development is at a low level,the promotion from industrial transformation and upgrading will be greater.However,as the quality of economic development continues to improve,the promotion will gradually decrease.The seventh chapter is to construct a threshold regression model to study the heterogeneity that in different stages of industrial transformation and upgrading,it impact on high-quality economic development.The results show that: industrial transformation and upgrading in different stages have always played a positive role in promoting high-quality economic development,but it has been weakened with the improving of industrial transformation and upgrading.This means that industrial transformation and upgrading is easy to improve the quality of economic development when the level of industrial development is low,while it is relatively difficult to improve the quality of economic development when the level of industrial development is high.Chapter 8 is the main conclusions and policy recommendations of this article.Based on the results and conclusions of the above theoretical research,statistical measurement research and empirical research,this part provides corresponding policy recommendations for promoting industrial transformation and upgrading and stimulating high-quality economic development.
