| Regional integration development and urban land use efficiency are two important issues in China's economic and social development.According to the research idea of“Analysis framework-Empirical analysis-Path recommendations”,this study analyzed the influence mechanism of regional integration on urban land use efficiency.First of all,the analysis framework of “industrial integration-urban rural integration-spatial correlation” was constructed to analyze the influence mechanism of regional integration on urban land use efficiency in theory;Secondly,following the logic chain of“spatio-temporal evolution-influence effect-influence path”,this paper empirically tested the influence mechanism and transmission path of regional integration on urban land use efficiency.Specifically,we used random forest algorithm,nuclear density estimation,exploratory spatial data analysis and coupling coordination model to describe the spatial-temporal evolution characteristics and coordination relationship between regional integration and urban land use efficiency of 12 urban agglomerations in China from 2003 to 2017;After constructing spatial Durbin regression model and dynamic econometric analysis model,we studied the influence of regional integration on urban land use efficiency and its regional heterogeneity,then revealed the direction and intensity of the influence of regional integration on urban land use efficiency;Using the intermediary effect model,the paper studied the influence path of regional integration on urban land use efficiency.Three key questions were answered: What kind of influence did the development of regional integration have on urban land use efficiency? What is the way to achieve this effect? Based on this,the path system of improving urban land use efficiency under the background of regional integration is designed.The following conclusions were drawn:(1)The analysis framework of the influence mechanism of regional integration of“industry integration-urban rural integration-spatial correlation” on urban land use efficiency change.With the research perspective shifted from the macro background of regional integration to the process of regional integration,the integrated economic structure change,social structure change and spatial structure change were introduced into the analysis framework of urban land use efficiency change.Therefore,this paper constructed an analysis framework of “industry integration-urban rural integration-spatial correlation” to to analyze the influence mechanism of regional integration on urban land use efficiency change.(2)The spatial-temporal evolution characteristics and coupling coordination relationship between regional integration and urban land use efficiency.From the perspective of temporal evolution,for the whole urban agglomeration,the center of regional integration density function moved to the right,the wave crest changeed from steep to smooth,and the regional gap of regional integration gradually expanded during the sample investigation period.The evolution of urban land use efficiency was similar to that of regional integration.From the perspective of spatial pattern,there were spatial correlation and strong spillover effects in China's regional integration and urban land use efficiency during the study period,and this spatial correlation tended to increase.The spatial diffusion effects in different agglomeration areas permeated unevenly,resulting in the coexistence of regional integration of urban agglomeration and spatial dependence and spatial heterogeneity of urban land use efficiency.From the perspective of coupling and coordination,the development level of regional integration and urban land use efficiency were promoted together.(3)The influence of regional integration on urban land use efficiency and its regional heterogeneity was examined.The effect of regional integration on urban land use efficiency was significantly positive and different.Furthermore,the influence degree of regional integration on the decomposition variables of urban land use efficiency was also significantly different.Among the decomposition variables of urban land use efficiency,the positive influence of regional integration on urban land output efficiency was the strongest,followed by the input level of urban land use,the intensity of urban land use,and finally the sustainability of urban land use.There was a two-way causal relationship between the development of regional integration and the improvement of urban land use efficiency,and this causal relationship was long-term and discrepancy.(4)The influence path of regional integration on the transformation of urban land use efficiency was analyzed.From the perspective of industrial integration and regional integration,differentiated transmission mechanism of “regional integration ? industrial integration ? urban land use efficiency” and “regional integration ? urban-rural integration ? urban land use efficiency” did exist in 12 Chinese urban agglomerations.By comparison,in the current development stage,there was no transmission mechanism of“regional integration ? domestic and foreign market potential ? urban land use efficiency” at the overall level of urban agglomerations,but there existed a transmission mechanism of “regional integration ?R & D technology spillover ? urban land use efficiency”.(5)The strategy of regional integration to promote the urban land use efficiency.Considering the current situation of the development of urban agglomeration and urban land use efficiency and the law of spatio-temporal evolution,especially from the analysis results of the influence effect and influence path of regional integration on urban land use efficiency,a path system of “industrial integration + urban-rural integration + spatial correlation” was formed to improve urban land use efficiency.Specifically,the main ways to promote the efficiency of urban land use included giving full play to the role of industrial specialization and industrial diversification,and improving the policy of urban industrial integration to promote the integrated development of industry;The main ways of urban-rural integration to promote the efficiency of urban land use included pushing forward the market-oriented reform of commodities and factors and promoting the coordinated development of regions;the main ways of spatial connection to promote the efficiency of urban land use included realizing the effective linkage of domestic and international “two markets” and strengthening the promotion of technology R & D allocation and interregional talent communication. |
