In the process of China's vigorous implementation of the 'manufacturing and service'dual-wheel driven development strategy,industrial co-agglomeration has quietly replaced manufacturing industry agglomeration,service industry agglomeration and other industrial specialization agglomeration,gradually becoming the‘new normal'of industrial spatial layout in most cities in China.At the same time,green development is an integral part of China's efforts to achieve sustainable economic development and high-quality growth,and green total factor productivity,which fully considers pollution emission and energy consumption,has become an important indicator to measure the quality of economic development in China's cities.It can be seen that the realization mechanism of green TFP growth in Chinese cities under industrial co-agglomeration is a problem worthy of in-depth study.However,from the development of the industrial spatial layout practice in our country,the agglomeration economy does not always effective drive green economic development,how to optimize the industrial space layout to reduce the urban energy consumption and pollution emissions and achieve sustainable economic development is in recent years,spatial economics,environmental economics,urban economics in areas such as the focus of scholars.In view of this,this paper,starting from the current situation of China's industrial development,explores the realization mechanism of green TFP growth under the co-agglomeration of manufacturing and producer services,which is not only to fill in the existing research gaps,but also to deepen and expand the agglomeration economic theory.The thesis conducts theoretical argumentation and quantitative test on the core arguments of the thesis respectively in theoretical analysis and empirical research,which provides sufficient scientific basis for the rationality and feasibility of the realization mechanism of green TFP growth under industrial co-agglomeration.In the part of theoretical analysis,the paper first comprehensively analyzes the formation motivation,green connotation and pollution control characteristics of each stage of co-agglomeration,and systematically expounds the theoretical connotation of green TFP,the influencing factors of green TFP from the perspective of agglomeration economy,and the characteristics of productivity growth.On this basis,the paper puts forward the internal mechanism of green TFP growth under industrial co-agglomeration,including four driving mechanisms:innovation effect mechanism,cost effect mechanism,allocation effect mechanism and space spillover effect mechanism.Then,the paper improves and expands the central-peripheral model and the agglomeration economic-productivity model,constructs the central-peripheral extension model including the manufacturing sector,producer services sector and traditional industrial sector,and describes the realization mechanism of green TFP growth under industrial co-agglomeration.In empirical research part,the thesis firstly in 2004-2017 panel data of 278 Chinese cities,using TNDDF function is calculated with the consideration of the expected output and energy consumption of green TFP growth index,and uses the modified industry co-agglomeration index to measure the Chinese manufacturing industry and producer services urban agglomeration level together.Then,by means of mediating effect model,social network analysis and other measurement and statistical methods,the paper empirically tested the realization mechanism of green TFP growth under industrial co-agglomeration.Study found:(1)the overall level of China's manufacturing industry and producer services co-agglomeration showed a trend of increasing year by year,in the early stages of samples evaluated present a 'small agglomeration,large-scale scattered" space characteristics,with the expansion of the cluster size,industry co-agglomeration in recent years gradually into 'more regional development'.The overall growth of green TFP in China's cities shows a steady rise,but regional differences coexist with radiation effects.There is still a large room for improvement if we want to improve green TFP and achieve sustainable economic development.(2)Industrial co-agglomeration can promote urban green TFP growth through innovation effect mechanism,cost effect mechanism and allocation effect mechanism,but the effect of driving mechanism is different in different regions.In terms of innovation effect mechanism,the innovation effect of the eastern economic zone is much higher than that of the central and western economies.In terms of the cost effect mechanism,the eastern economic zone has shown a significant cost effect,while the central and western economic zone fails to promote the growth of urban green TFP through the cost effect due to the extensive industrial development mode,lack of high-end talents and technology and other factors.In terms of allocation effect mechanism,industrial co-agglomeration in the eastern economic zone can promote urban green TFP growth by optimizing resource allocation,while the resource allocation effect of industrial co-agglomeration has not yet appeared in the central and western economic zones.(3)plays a significant role in China's urban green space overflow network total factor productivity growth,coordination with producer services and manufacturing agglomeration is the crucial factor for the formation of spatial spillover network,verified the co-agglomeration within the city industry in China to promote green neighborhood by spatial spillover effect total factor productivity growth.The main contributions of this paper are as follows:(1)Through the analysis of the form of industrial co-agglomeration motivation,green connotation and pollution control characteristics,theoretically elaborated the internal mechanism of green TFP growth under industrial co-agglomeration.In addition,the existing industrial co-agglomeration level measurement index is revised,and the innovative proposal can not only fully reflect the co-agglomeration degree of manufacturing and producer services,but also comprehensively reflect the industrial co-agglomeration measurement index with high co-agglomeration degree.(2)the Krugman core-periphery model is improved and extended,built three departments including manufacturing,producer services and the traditional industry of core-periphery extension model,the theory of collaborative reasoning out the industry agglomeration can through innovation effect and cost effect and the effects of configuration and spatial spillover effect green TFP growth,insufficient filling and expand the existing theoretical research.(3)Verify the driving mechanism under the industrial co-agglomeration by means of mediation effect model,and solve the endogenous problems that may exist in the model by looking for appropriate instrumental variables.In addition,the mechanism of inspection of empirical research on scientific and reasonable measurement is one of the difficult problem of China urban green space overflow total factor productivity growth,the paper uses a 'global perspective' of social network analysis to our country city green TFP growth space overflow network,which can identify and QAP nonparametric estimation method of spatial spillover effect mechanism,and thus more effective verification regional urban green TFP growth space whether overflow from industrial co-agglomeration.
