The qualitative and quantitative academic evaluations belong to two completely different value orientations, which cannot be replaced with each other. The qualitative evaluation of academic papers is a qualitative judgment, conducted through peer review mostly. However, during the implementation of peer review, there are some issues such as excessive reliance on human subjective and relative factors, lack of objective effectiveness and low efficiency for further development. The quantitative evaluation of academic papers belongs to quantitative analysis, which is mainly based on citation analysis, where the most important practices set in scientific research evaluation.Quantitative research can get rid of the influence of human factors and social environment, but it also inevitably brings new problems such as excessive dependence and abuse of quantitative measures in practice, leading to the improper academic behavior partly. In order to break the situation of one-sided,excessive and distorted dependence on SCI-related indicators in scientific research evaluation, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Technology issued a document on February 20,2020 named "Several Opinions on Regulating the Use of Indexes Related to SCI Papers in Colleges and Universities and Establishing a Correct Evaluation Orientation",which actively promoted the development of comprehensive evaluation combining qualitative and quantitative ones.Based on the above background and combined with related research, this article attempts to comprehensively consider the evaluation of the quality and quantity of academic papers. The basic research idea is to select qualified paper datasets for their informetric features and interdisciplinary differences under the premise of ensuring the quality of academic papers. For this purpose, this article focuses the research on the Nobel Prize laureates' papers datasets. The qualified papers contain two parts, namely the Nobel Prize laureates' key papers and key publications. The key papers are used to uncover informetric features of the qualified papers, and discuss on the applicability in different disciplines. The key publications are used to compare the differences in informetric features among different disciplines on a larger range of qualified paper datasets. The disciplines involved in this article include physics, chemistry, biomedicine and economic in Nobel Prize. The most characteristic research in this article is constructing the two special informetric modes of the qualified papers in the methodology part-the "Swan Group" mode and the "Associated-Sleeping-Beauty" mode, and empirically explored these two modes in different qualified paper datasets. The main conclusions are:(1)The "Swan Group" mode can be applied to the qualified papers of Nobel Prize laureates in four disciplines, and the minimum proportion is about 30%;Also,the overall proportion in key papers is higher than that in key publications.Similar to the "Sleeping Beauty" model, the "Swan Swarm" mode also focuses on the informetric model of major discoveries in the history of human science, and the proportion is much higher than the "Sleeping Beauty";(2)According to the "Swan Group" index, the "Swan Group" mode can be divided into three types. In the key publications of various disciplines, the "Swan Group" examples of "Type 2" account for the largest proportion, followed by "Type 3",and this result is slightly different in the key papers;(3)Among the four Nobel Prize disciplines, the "Associated-Sleeping-Beauty" mode has a higher proportion in economics and physics; And there is a "Gathering of Laureates" phenomenon in the "Associated-Sleeping-Beauty" examples.(4)Different from the research on purely quantitative mining of "Sleeping Beauty" papers, the "Associated-Sleeping-Beauty" mode can be applied as a new comprehensive method which combines qualitative and quantitative evaluation of excavating "Sleeping Beauty" papers;(5)As the datasets expands, the quality of its papers declines, that is,the quality of key publications is not as qualified as that of key papers. The results of the study indicate that after reducing the quality of paper, the proportion of "Swan Group" mode and "Associated-Sleeping-Beauty" mode has also decreased. The research in this dissertation focuses on the preliminary exploration of comprehensive research combining both qualitative and quantitative academic evaluations, and the research idea is different from the most ideas of existing research. The exploration of this paper is expected to provide inspiration for related research, and the informetric features of qualified paper can be as reference for relevant research on quantitative evaluation of academic papers' quality and scientific research evaluation work.
