Since the 18 th National Congress of CCP,with the leading of the General Secretary Xi Jinping,the Central Committee of the CCP has had a deep insight into the general trend of global development and the pattern of world education development,accurately grasped the new characteristics and trends of socialist education development with Chinese characteristics,and given priority to the development of education as a smart reaction to promote the development of various undertakings in CCP and the whole country,and made an important conclusion that“building an educational powerhouse is the basic project for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation”.Promoting educational equity is the primary task of building a strong socialist educational country,and also an important practical principle for people’s satisfied education.Based on the strategic positioning of the new era,General Secretary Xi Jinping has issued a series of important statements on major issues such as achieving inclusive,fair and quality education and vigorously promoting the enjoyment of lifelong education opportunities for all,starting from the main contradictions in China’s current educational development.Xi Jinping’s important statements on educational equity is an organic composition of Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era,highlighting the socialist nature and innovative development characteristics of China’s educational development,marking a new major theoretical breakthrough in CCP’s understanding of educational equity,opening up a new realm,new pattern and new height of sinicization of Marxist educational thought,and providing important methodological guidance and action strategies for the in-depth promotion of high-quality development of education based on equity and with the purpose of people’s satisfaction.From the perspective of its ideological sources,Xi Jinping’s important statements on educational equity are not only the theoretical condensation and sublimation of the educational fairness thoughts of classic writers such as Marx,Engels and Lenin,but also are the inheritance and promotion of the same theme which have been elaborated and promoted by Mao Zedong,Deng Xiaoping,Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao at different historical stages.Besides,they are also the critical inheritance and remake of China’s traditional educational fairness thought.From the perspective of development path,Xi Jinping’s important statements on education have deeply understood on the changes in the international situation,accurately grasped the new historical orientation of China’s development,deeply analyzed the main contradictions of China’s education development in the new era,and fully realized that Shanghai.From the perspective of theoretical connotation,Xi Jinping’s important statements on educational equity are open theoretical system that can be interpreted from a multidimensional perspective.Adhere to the people-centered education and running the people-satisfied education is its value pursuit;realizing the organic unity of fairer and higher-quality education is its developing starting point for education;second,vigorously promoting the balanced development of education and strive to achieve fairness in the educational process;third,to make great strides on the road to achieving fair educational results through the implementation of preferential policies;the latter includes: first,adhering to the Party’s overall leadership in promoting educational equity;second,clarifying the responsibilities of governments at all levels in safeguarding educational equity;third,focusing on promoting more equitable and high-quality development of basic education;fourth,continuing with the achievements of targeted poverty alleviation in education;fifth,building high-quality and professional education teachers team;sixth,vigorously promoting the construction of information education.This study takes historical materialism as the guidance of methodology,follows the principle of unifying logic and history,theory and practice,uses the analysis framework of seeking ideological origin,development path,theoretical connotation,time value and practical path to discuss Xi Jinping’s important statements on educational equity.There are two possible innovations in this study: first,at present,the domestic academic discussion on Xi Jinping’s important statement on educational equity can be found in journal papers and master’s thesis,but not in doctoral thesis.In this sense,the topic of this study could be a certain novelty.Second,this study will not be limited to static interpretation and abstract analysis of the theory,but put the theory under the background of vivid social history and ideological evolution to systematically sort out the ideological origin,development path,theoretical connotation,era value and practical path of Xi Jinping’s important statements on education equity,with which it is hoped that the understanding and related research could be put forward. |
