In the National College Ideological and Political Work Conference,our General Secretary Xi Jinping said,Ideological and Political Work in universities concerns the fundamental question of what kind of people,how and for whom to train.Strengthening the research on university’s Ideological and Political Education is not only the need of the disciplinary development,but also an important guarantee for the social development.It is also an important way for people’s all-round development.With the rapid development of the market economy,China’s modernization process and modernity crisis are complementary,reification is an important aspect of modernity crisis.Reification not only affects the economy and social life,but also permeates into the education field.University’s Ideological and Political Education has not escaped the influnce of reification.Using Lukas’ Reification Theory to analyze the phenomenon of reification existing in university’s Ideological and Political Education,seeking the way out of the reification is an innovation,and also an inevitable way to improve the effectiveness and education quality of the Ideological and Political Education in universities.Lukacs borrowed Marx’s Commodity Fetishism and Weber’s Rationalization Theory,then founded his Reification Theory.This is a re-interpretation and expansion of Marx’s Alienation Theory.Compared with Marx’s Alienation Theory,Lukacs’ s Reification Theory is more specific in its analysis and criticism.In History and Class Consciousness,Lukacs criticized the reification of capitalist society and pointed out that the way to get over reification,he suggested us to awake the class consciousness of the proletariat,practice philosophy and insist on total dialectics which is also the recovery and development of Marx’s Total Methodology.Lukacs’ Reification Theory has certain usability for Ideological and Political Education of College students.It not only provides a reified critical perspective,but also provides a methodological reference for the study of Ideological and Political Education.It also provides a theoretical reference for the analysis and solution of the problems existing in it,and helps us to get out of the reified predicament and improve the effectiveness of education quality.As a purposeful activity,the Ideological and Political Education has its activity pointed to something.Under the influence of reification,the purpose of Ideological and Political Education in university falls into the dilemma of instrumental and ontology,transcendence of ideals and vulgarity of reality.There are three reasons,such as the promotion of rationality in the capitalist society,the infiltration to education of reified principles in the economic and social fields,and the flood of reified consciousness,and so on.In order to eliminate and surpass reification,education should adhere to the principle of paying equal attention to noumenal value and instrumental value.The aim of education is to establish the thought and politics from the general structure of China’s actual and social development.To achieve the purpose,we should follow the guidance of Marxist Humanism and set up a win-win situation between social and individual development.The Ideological and Political Education process is the process of changing the aim from the state of "ought to be" to the state of "true to be".Along with the contagion of reification,the reification also permeates the process of the Ideological and Political Education,and manifests itself as the mechanization and rationalization.The pursuit of rationalization has brought serious consequences,which are reflected in the lack of quality,lost its peculiarity,and trained lots of "one-sided people".To overcome the mechanization of the Iideological and Political Education process,it is necessary to cultivate the subject consciousness of education subject,construct education content that promotes the comprehensive development of students,and explore the two-way interaction education method.Education evaluation is a part of the Ideological and Political Education,it’s also an important reflection of education value.At present,the education evaluation of Ideological and Political Education in university pays more attention to computational evaluation,which is reflected in the emphasis on the quantitative assessment of the personal achievements of educators.People pay so much attention to the emphasis on the mastery of knowledge,the improvement of ability of educatee,and the emphasis on the quantitative assessment of the effect.This has become an urgent problem to be solved in the current Ideological and Political Education.The accurate Ideological and Political Education has both advantages and disadvantages,it plays a positive role in improving the efficiency and scientificity of the evaluation.The evaluation should adhere to the correct value orientation,take Marx’s Holistic Dialectics as the guidance,determine the evaluation criteria both macro and micro,and select the evaluation method scientifically.The overflow of reified consciousness makes the values of pragmatism and consumerism influence the youth’s spiritual life,it has become an unavoidable reality of the university’s Ideological and Political Education.At present,human’s subjectivity has been neglected.In the Ideological and Political Education,educators are reduced to the "driving wheel" of college education production.They lose their subjectivity,The educatee lose their subjectivity too,and the teacher-student relationship is also reified.In order to eliminate reification and promote human subjectivity in Ideological and Political Education,it is necessary to adhere to three principles: pay equal attention to social universality and individual individuality,equality and mutual respect between teachers and students,also between teachers’ leading and students’ subject.We should put people first,cultivate education subject’s desire for "totality",improve subject’s consciousness,cultivate subject’s thinking,exercise subject’s ability,pay attention to subject’s spiritual practice.We should focus on students,care for students,serve students,and assist students’ all-round development too.
