Research On Fujian Local Poetry Collection In Ming And Qing Dynasties

Fujian local poetry collection refers to the collection of works of two or more writers in Fujian or a certain area of Fujian.Its compilers are not limited to local scholars,but also guest scholars.The earliest collection of local poetry in Fujian is 30 volumes of Quanshan Xiuju Ji compiled by Huang Tao in Tang Dynasty.The earliest extant is 12 volumes of Minnan Tangya compiled by Xu Bo and Fei Daoyong in Ming Dynasty.Since then,the collection of local poetry in Fujian has flourished,fully reflecting the development track of Fujian literature.In terms of time distribution,the compilation of Fujian local poetry collection started in the Tang Dynasty,flourished in the Song Dynasty,continued in the Yuan Dynasty,and developed in an all-round way in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.There were two development peaks in the middle of the Ming Dynasty and the middle of the Qing Dynasty,and a large number of famous local poetry collections emerged in all prefectures of Fujian,which showed the characteristics of summary in the Qing Dynasty.In terms of spatial distribution,the compilation of Fujian local poetry collection in Ming and Qing Dynasties mainly concentrated in Fuzhou,Xinghua and Quanzhou,followed by Shaowu and Jianning,and scattered in other prefectures.In the process of the development of Fujian literature,the literati actively advocated the purpose of rejuvenating the elegant style of poetry school.The great contrast between the prosperity of local culture and the scattered articles prompted them to carry on the textual research to prepare a county’s classic.Based on the selection standards of “preserving poems for people”(selecting people)and “preserving people for poems”(selecting poems),they searched and combed various literature carriers,compiled such works as Minhai Fengya,Quanminshi Jun,Qianjia Quanminshi Zhuan,Minshi Lu,Quanmin Mingshi Zhuan,Guochao Quanminshi Lu,Jin’an Fengya,Puyang Wenxian,Pufeng Qinglai Ji,Qingyuan Wenxian,Luoyang Wenxian,Fengzhouji Gao,Zhaoyang Fuya Ji,Jianning Qijiushi Chao,Tingnan Jincun Ji,Zhepushi Chao,Jianyangshi Chao,Jianpushi Bian and a large number of local poetry collections reflecting the overall development of Fujian Province or a certain Prefecture and a certain County.In line with the development level of social economy,the development of Fujian imperial examination culture and the development of Fujian local literature family,the compilation of Fujian local poetry collection in Ming and Qing Dynasties can reflect the development of Fujian local literature.The text,preface,postscript,examples,biographies,commentaries and other attached materials not only have important literary significance,such as helping to carding the development of literature,expanding the research of group of poets and literary criticism,but also have important document function such as collecting lost and collating,preserving author’s data,preserving the historical events and historical records of local characteristics.
