As the display platform of various excellent art works under the national system since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the National Exhibition of Fine Arts(hereafter abbreviated as National Art Exhibition)is the one of the national art events that has been the most influential and authoritative so far with the longest history,the most participants as well as the largest scale.After 70 years of development,the National Art Exhibition has gradually become the vane,barometer and gas station for modern and contemporary Chinese art creation.Being an important type of painting in the National Art Exhibition,the development of oil painting also reflects the changes in the mainstream art form of New China.The review and summary of the “Chinese experience” of the oil painting works in the National Art Exhibition has special significance for the construction of Chinese oil painting system.Based on such understanding and thinking,plus that the author has been focusing on the research work of the art category of oil painting in recent years,the author hopes to explore the internal development rules of the oil painting works of the National Art Exhibition and the unique value and charm from the perspective of “Chinese experience”.Specifically,the overall structure of this paper will be divided into three parts for analysis:The first part is the first chapter that draws an overall picture of the development path of the National Art Exhibition of New China.This part teases the periodic characteristics of the National Art Exhibition and the oil painting development in the art exhibition out,combining various factors such as the national art system,social and cultural changes and the oil painting themes to analyze,aimed at providing a historical basis for summarizing the “Chinese experience” of oil painting works in National Art Exhibition.The second part covers the second,third and fourth chapters of this paper.Combined with the creative practice of oil painting works in the National Art Exhibition,this part makes an analysis of the thinking and unique cultural concepts of the participants in art activities presented in the three aspects of the theme selection,form performance and aesthetic expression of oil painting works.In addition,this part gradually elaborates on the formation and connotation of the “Chinese experience” with the national art exhibition oil painting as the main threshold in combination with the traditional concepts and theory of Chinese and Western art.The third part is the fifth chapter of this paper.The uniqueness of the “Chinese experience” of the oil painting works of the National Art Exhibition obtained through the above review and elaboration needs to be emphasized from the standpoint of comparison.Therefore,this chapter uses the two perspectives of Chinese and Western comparison and domestic comparison to conduct a comprehensive survey of the “Chinese experience” so as to find out its specificity in a multi-dimensional comparison of time,space and conceptual value and further distinguish and confirm.Through comparing the current phenomenon in the artistic circle reflected by the “Chinese experience” of oil painting works in National Art Exhibition,this chapter attempts to discover some problems that need to be solved and improved at the level of Chinese art creation and ecological mechanism,and at the same time,put forth constructive solutions and measures.The fourth part is the sixth chapter of this paper.After the detailed and specific demonstration of the “Chinese experience” of the oil paintings of the National Art Exhibition in the previous part,the various values of the oil paintings of the National Art Exhibition will be further elaborated.In the meanwhile,the deeper cultural motivation for the formation and development of the “Chinese experience” contained in the oil painting works of the National Art Exhibition will be found,and a certain amount of available theoretical basis and useful experience for the current important issues facing Chinese art creation and cultural development will be provided.In conclusion,in the cultural context of complex changes in the international community,how to define China’s “cultural identity”,carry forward the national spirit and cultural traditions,build a core value system,and establish a development direction with Chinese characteristics have always been an issue actively discussed and urgently to be solved by the academic community.How to shape the “Chinese image” in the form of visual art and convey the “Chinese spirit” have been the direction of continuous thinking and practice in the Chinese art field in recent years.The frequent exchanges and mutual permeation between different cultures and arts are already indisputable facts in today’s era of cultural diversity.How to show the charm of Chinese culture,grasp the spirit of the times,and adhere to the ethnic background has always been the development direction and core goal of the Chinese art.How to combine and develop the “Chinese experience” and oil painting creation,and what direction the “Chinese experience” will take in oil painting works to be prominent have become an important issue that cannot be ignored in the future personalized development of Chinese oil painting art.
