Objective:Allergic Rhinitis(AR)is a common non-infectious and chronic diseases in the world.In many large and medium-sized cities in China,the incidence of AR is also increasing year by year.The main mechanisms to this phenomenon are unable to be independently explained by the corresponding changes of susceptibility genes of human.Meanwhile,environmental factors also play an important role in the pathogenesis of this disease.There are various factors to induce the occurrence of AR however there are no clinicians or related researchers to conduct in-depth study of the main risk factors of allergic rhinitis in Shenyang and surrounding areas.In this study,the author investigated the risk factors of allergic rhinitis in Shenyang and its surrounding areas by questionnaire survey,and summarized the main risk factors to AR in this area,so as to provide theoretical basis for effective prevention and treatment of this disease in clinic.Methods:By enquiring the medical history of patients highly suspected of allergic rhinitis,instruments and methods:Allergy Screen in vitro allergen measuring system(Mediwiss Company,Germany),Western blot technology,RAPID READER dedicated reading instrument,decoloration and transfer shaking table,dedicated cassette and allergen detection strip and other supporting reagents etc.Detection strip includes 8categories 20 kinds of ingested allergens and 7 categories 14 kinds of inhaled allergens.Analysis of the basic characteristics of patients with allergic rhinitis in Shenyang and its surrounding areas,to conclude the distribution characteristics of ingested allergens group and inhaled allergens group,as well as carrying out relative factor analysis for SIgE level patients with allergic rhinitis and the multiple-factor analysis of IgE level in Shenyang and surrounding areas.Results:1.Among the 749 cases of allergic rhinitis patients,including 501 cases of male(66.8%),248 cases of female(33.2%),there statistic difference for thesex ratio of each age group;the primary allergen of inhaled group is house dust mite/dermatophagoides farina,the positive rate of house dust mite/dermatophagoides farina,mugwort,Chinese parasol without statistical differences(?~2=4.385,P=0.358;?~2=8.038,P=0.095;?~2=7.486,P=0.055;?~2=6.494,P=0.087),the positive rate of elm,mold,cat hair/dog hair,cockroach,ragweed have statistical differences((?~2=29.944,P<0.001;?~2=19.945,P<0.001;?~2=33.963,P<0.001;?~2=30.552,P<0.001;?~2=21.736,P=0.002).The most common double positive allergens of inhaled group are mite+mold,reach up to33.9%.2.The ingested allergens ranking of each age group:the group aged between 7~15 years old is the same to the overall distribution of all age groups;for the group aged between0~7 years old,mango and pineapple is the most common allergen,beef and mutton the second,shrimp the third;for the group aged between 36~61years old,pineapple,mango and milk ranked first,egg the second,beef and mutton the third.3.The distribution of age,occupation,whether contact with dust have statistical difference;however the gender,genetic history,smoking history,food allergy history,drug allergy history,flower growing experience,keeping pets,short term decoration and contact with automobile exhaust have no statistical difference.4.When the allergen is cockroach,the IgE level is affected by the allergy history,flower growing and pets at home.As for the variation of IgE level,allergy history,flower growing and pets at home account for 9.7%(R~2=0.097).Allergic history can promote the IgE level of cockroach allergen(b=0.168),flower growing at home can promote the IgE level of cockroach allergen(b=0.148),pet at home can reduce the IgE level of cockroach allergen(b=-0.171)5.When the mold is the allergen,the IgE level is affected by gender,allergy history,pet and new furniture.As for the variation of IgE level,gender,allergy history,pet and new furniture account for 11.4%(R~2=0.114).6.When the mugwort is the allergen,the IgE level is affected by allergy history and asthma history.As for the variation of IgE level,allergy history and asthma history account for 8.2%(R~2=0.082).7.When the peanut is the allergen,the IgE level is affected by age and allergy history.As for the variation of IgE level,age and allergy history account for 7.4%(R2=0.074).8.When the egg is the allergen,the IgE level is affected by food allergy history,flower growing and pet at home.As for the variation of IgE level,food allergy history,flower growing and pet account for 8.3%(R2=0.083).9.When the crab is the allergen,the IgE level is affected by f allergy history,pet at home.As for the variation of IgE level,allergy history and pet account for 9.2%(R2=0.092).Conclusions:1.The most common inhaled allergen is house dust mite/dermatophagoides farinae,followed by elm,mold,dog and cat hair and scurf,mugwort,cockroach,short ragweed,Chinese parasol,scandent hop.In all age group of inhaled allergen,house dust mite/dermatophagoides farina is the most common allergen;the leading double positive allergen combination is also the mite,which is consistent with the conclusion of previous literatures,mite may still be the primary allergen factor for allergic rhinitis patient in Shenyang and surrounding areas.2.The primary ingested allergen for AR patient is mango and pineapple,followed by beef and mutton,milk,egg,shrimp and crab.The ingested allergens are not completely the same in each age group.3.The symptom integral of allergic rhinitis has no statistical difference in different gender,but showed obvious differences in different age groups,moreover the symptom integral of age group 0~7 years old and 7~15 years old is significantly higher than the age group of 36~61 years old,which showed that gender has no obvious influence to AR disease,but with the increase of age,the symptoms of AR may be relieved gradually.4.the distribution of age,occupation,whether contact with dust have statistical differences;however the gender,genetic history,smoking history,food allergy history,drug allergy history,flower growing experience,keeping pets,short term decoration and contact with automobile exhaust have no statistical difference,which indicates that in single factor analysis,age and occupation and exposure to dust are risk factors to AR incidence,and are also related to sIgE classification.5.There are many factors to the incidence of allergic rhinitis and there are a certain controversies between the conclusions of different scholars.The accurate possible risk factors of AR cannot be obtained simply depend on single factor analysis,therefore multiple factor analysis need to be implemented by multiple linear regression.6.When the allergens are cockroach,mold,mugwort,peanut,egg and crab,the IgE level is affected by the factors of allergy history,flower and plant growing,pet,gender,new furniture,asthma history and age,moreover as for each allergen,the influence factor of IgE level is not completely the same.
