| Sustainable and high-quality development is the current global concern and common goal.Prefabricated construction(PC),with significant sustainable superiorities of energy saving,emission reduction,good quality and high efficiency,is an important carrier of new construction methods.PC is conducive to the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry.PC technology drives PC’s advancements.The inter-organizational diffusion of PC technology breaks through organizational boundaries,and promotes technology cooperation and resource sharing between organizations.Then a general system of PC can be established,which is beneficial to transform PC technology from theoretical research to practical application and from innovative achievements to economic benefits.However,due to the lack of theoretical guidance,the diffusion efficiency and effect of PC technology are unsatisfactory,making it difficult to realize the economies of scale.The development of PC is hindered.This paper takes PC technology as the object,and analyzes the factor-driven mechanism,subjects’ decision-making process and network evolution features of the inter-organizational diffusion of PC technology progressively,based on the technology diffusion theory,game theory and complex network theory.The systematic research of the inter-organizational diffusion of PC technology provides scientific basis for the effective promotion of PC.This paper identifies six driving factors of enterprise-enterprise relationship,agency-enterprise relationship,consumer-enterprise relationship,policy intervention,network power,and technical versatility,from three dimensions of diffusion subject,diffusion object and diffusion environment for the inter-organizational diffusion of PC technology.Ten hypotheses,that the first three factors have a significant direct driving effect on diffusion performance while the latter three have a significant indirect driving effect on diffusion performance,are proposed.Using an empirical analysis method,the four key driving factors of enterprise-enterprise relationship,policy intervention,network power,and technical versatility are determined;the moderated and secondary effect of technical versatility,and the complex mediated effects of network power and policy intervention in the interaction between enterprise-enterprise relationship and diffusion performance are analyzed in-depth.After the interaction of key driving factors and their mechanisms are explored,the motivations for the inter-organizational diffusion of PC technology is determined.This paper integrates the four key driving factors of enterprise-enterprise relationship,policy intervention,network power,and technical versatility into the subjects’ decision-making process,to demonstrate the game relationships in the decision-making process of subjects;through the evolutionary game of competitors and collaborators,that the inter-organizational diffusion of PC technology depends on the total return of both itself and its partners is clarified;the influencing mechanism of the three policies,including direct subsidies,indirect subsidies,and prefabrication ratio requirements on the subjects decision-making are analyzed,to explore the existence of inflection points of policy variables;the perfect Nash equilibriums of the sub-game for both subjects are solved using the Stackelberg model;the synergistic optimization of subjects’ diffusion decisions and government supervision policies are analyzed quantitatively by adopting intelligent heuristic algorithms for a numerical example;as such,the microscopic mechanism of the inter-organizational diffusion of PC technology is revealed.Grounded in the continuous diffusion decision-making of subjects,this paper introduces the four key driving factors into the two-stage evolutionary model,from the perspective of selecting the best partners;a two-stage evolution model of the inter-organizational diffusion network of PC technology is construct,to reveal the holistic evolution process of a new enterprises entering the diffusion network in the first stage and the enterprises within the network reconnecting in the second stage;the influences of key metrics,including the number of preferred cooperative enterprises and the upper limit of PC resources,on network evolution are identified;the scale-free evolution characteristics of the inter-organizational diffusion network of PC technology at different stages are proposed.Changchun is selected as a case city,and expert surveys and literature analysis methods are used to collect case data;the technology diffusion decisions of enterprises are analyzed and optimized through the cooperative evolutionary game and the Stackelberg game,respectively;canceling direct subsidies,strengthening indirect subsidies,and appropriately increasing the prefabrication ratio requirements are found to be the reasonable policy arrangement in Changchun currently.Through the website of the State Intellectual Property Office,this paper obtains PC-related cooperation patent data,and forms an initial weighted network for the inter-organizational diffusion of PC technology;based on the two-stage evolutionary model,the results of enterprises’ partner selection and the emerging network diffusion paths are systematically revealed,and the scale-free feature of the inter-organizational diffusion network evolution of PC technology is verified;the diffusion performance improvement measures to enterprises and government departments are proposed respectively,and the operation of the inter-organizational diffusion mechanism of PC technology is clarified.This paper draws on existing research and combines the uniqueness of inter-organizational diffusion of PC technology,to clarify the factors’ driving mechanism,to reveal the subjects’ decision-making mechanism,and to characterize the network evolution mechanism,using empirical research,game theory,network analysis,intelligent algorithm and case analysis methods.The key problems of the diffusion motivations,the micro diffusion mechanism,and the macro evolution are addressed,to systematically discuss the inter-organizational diffusion of PC technology.This paper enriches the technology diffusion theory system and supplements the construction management theory,effectively improves the diffusion performance and optimizes the diffusion path,making a positive contribution to the promotion of PC. |
