With the fast development of energy efficiency and emission reduction in China,the architecture design of energy efficiency has gradually become the focus of attentions.Aiming at the total and intensity oriented requirement as well as issues of energy-saving design in China,especially the insufficient contribution in the design process,the paper takes advantage of parametric tools to develop a target-oriented parametric architecture design method of energy efficiency,and makes contribution to the exploration of a proper design method and tools which could follow the direction of domestic development,be propitious to the positive participation from architects,and be effective in terms of energy efficiency.Following the study steps of methodological derivation,technical realization and design practice,with the comprehensive application of literature research,data statistics,parametric programming and digital performance simulation,the methodology study about the target-oriented parametric design of energy efficiency is divided into five aspects,theoretical exploration,tools selection,platform construction,algorithm writing and empirical research.Firstly,according to the status of domestic energy-saving design,the relevant design methods and technical ideas at home and abroad is systematically studied,and then a target-oriented design method of energy efficiency is proposed,and the concept,basic elements,workflow as well as requirement of tools are explored.Secondly,under the guidance of this method,parametric design and relevant tools is studied deeply which could demonstrate the feasibility of integration with energy-saving design method,and some parametric performance simulation tools are carefully selected,and the logic of integration with standards and design process is under exploration,which makes contribution to a method model.Thirdly,according to this method model,with the parametric tools and programming technology as well as the domestic standards,the parametric energy-saving design platform AG-EPO is completed.Fourthly,based on the AG-EPO,the cold region is taken as an example.Through the generation of energy-saving strategies,formal logic construction,and algorithm programming,a target-oriented energy-saving algorithm library that satisfies China's energy-saving design standards is established.Finally,taking the above research results as technical supports,with an office design as an example,the empirical research is conducted to test the workflow and algothrims above.The target-orientd method above could match domestic standards of energy efficiency,and could be characterized with the workflow of strategic logic for energy efficiency,generative algothrim based on energy-saving demand and comprehensive decision-making in priority of energy efficiency.The technical frame of design platform and algorithm library is equipped with parametric collaboration,architect intervention,algorithm integration,visual data management,and library index which could help architects to take positive participation to efficiently control the architectural form and space,so as to achieve the goal,and promote the formal innovation in a certain degree during the design phase.Taking the office case in cold region as an example,in terms of the empirical research,it is generated a series of design strategies and form logic to realize the target,as well as a set of methods and algorithms.The method could make contribution to the improvement and transformation of domestic design methods of energy efficiency.
