Research On Construction Strategy Of Recreational Vehicle Campsite Base On Sharing Development Concept

China’s tourism industry is at a critical stage in its transition from rapid to high-quality development,and recreational vehicle(RV)campsites,as one of the spatial practices to achieve the transformation,contain strong economic vitality,innovation and competitiveness.However,the huge demand gap has caused builders to apply the foreign mode directly without any rational thinking of practical problems.Although the demand issue can be solved using other countries’ successful experiences and theories,the construction of RV campsites will encounter serious risks with a simple copycatting action.As well as being unsustainable,the development of RV campsites also gives rise to a huge waste of resource and environment.The core of the research in this thesis is to find out a RV campsite construction model that suits the current development needs and future direction in China,for which the concept of sharing development provides a direction.The development of concept leads the development of action and it is also the central core of the developments of idea,direction and focus.Therefore,this thesis introduces the "concept of sharing development" into the research on the construction strategy of the RV campsites,which can be explained with three layers:the first layer focuses on the perspective of research which is,in fact,the establishment of shared values of RV campsites;the second layer is used as the mechanism of action which indicates a specific route to archive the sharing construction;and as the goal and outcome,the third layer leads that the construction of RV campsites is on the road of sustainable sharing development.This study,by combing and analyzing the current situation and problems of RV campsite development,proposes that China’s RV campsite construction must follow a path of sharing development.Then it deeply analyzes the connotation and content of RV campsite sharing construction from the perspective of who shares,what shares,how to share,and the sharing steps,and builds a theoretical framework using the recreational opportunities spectrum and ecosystem services theory.Next,from the perspective of caravan camp users,the RDA method is used to choose the decisive factors for the construction of RV campsites in rural,urban recreational centers and ecologically sensitive areas.Accordingly,by focusing on the development needs and characteristics of these types of areas,three construction mechanisms,cluster sharing,transfer sharing and adaptation sharing,are derived.Through the construction of the sharing construction system,specific construction strategies for these three types of areas are explored:the core of the construction strategy of cluster sharing in rural areas is to promote sustainable development of regional linkages and enhance the welfare of rural residents through cluster sharing of location,function and space;the construction strategy of transfer sharing in urban recreational centers achieves the intensive use of urban recreational resources and synergistic development of urban space at three levels,i.e.transferring urban development,transferring recreational value enhancement and transferring visitors’ experience upgrade;the strategy of adaptation sharing in the construction of ecologically sensitive areas seeks a balance between environmental protection and efficient use of resources in terms of adaptation to the ecological impact of RV campsites and the constraints and impacts of environmental climate on these campsites.This study finds that at the current development stage of RV campsites in China,there is no significant gap between the local level and international advanced level in the aspects of construction technologies and standards,but the campsite construction model must be explored and be innovative.Therefore,this thesis introduces the concept of sharing development,investigates the regional generation mechanism of RV campsites,constructs the theoretical model and realization mechanism of sharing campsite construction,and proposed and develops a theoretical system for RV campsites with a holistic construction perspective and high quality construction principles.Three innovative models of caravan camping are proposed:cluster sharing strategy in rural areas,transfer sharing strategy in urban recreation centers and adaptation sharing strategy in ecologically sensitive areas.Consequently,RV campsite industry can embark on the road of sustainable development with higher efficiency and better quality,which is suitable for China’s national conditions.
