China has entered the middle and late stage of industrialization.The rapid development of industrialization consumes a lot of energy and resources.China's resource-based cities provide energy and resources continuously for the country and have made outstanding contributions to the country's world-renowned achievements.However,resource-based cities faced with severe ecological problems caused by excessive exploitation of resources,and by high energy consumption,high pollution and high emissions in the process of exploitation and processing.The construction of ecological civilization in mineral resource-based cities is particularly urgent.Through literature research,it is found that relevant state departments and scholars have made certain achievements in the study of ecological civilization construction in different fields and different types of cities in China.But there are few systematic researches on the construction of ecological civilization of mineral resource-based cities.Therefore,the ecological civilization construction of mineral resource-based cities,is taken as the research title.It focuses on the study of evaluating the ecological civilization construction level in mineral resource-based cities,and the analysis of the civilization construction level differences and the causes of it among different types of mineral resource-based cities.It also tries to explore the suggestions on how to improve the ecological civilization construction level in these cities.This research has important theoretical and realistic significance.This paper takes China's mineral resource-based cities as the research object.On the basis of combing domestic and foreign research literature on ecological civilization construction,it constructs the research framework of ecological civilization construction of mineral resource-based cities,and takes ecological efficiency,environmental quality,territorial space development and social development as four subsystems to measure the ecological civilization construction level of mineral resource-based cities.Based on this,the index system of ecological civilization construction in mineral resource-based cities is constructed.Using the statistical yearbook and other relevant data,the sub-system evaluation and the comprehensive evaluation of ecological civilization construction level of 109 prefecture level mineral resource-based cities in China are carried out by using the method of random frontier analysis,entropy weight and factor analysis.This paper analyzes the differences and causes of ecological civilization construction level of different types of cities,and puts forward targeted policy suggestions.The research contents of this paper include the following aspects:Firstly,the research framework of ecological civilization construction of mineral resource-based cities in China is constructed.Starting from the four basic tasks of national ecological civilization construction,combined with the characteristics of mineral resource-based cities,this paper constructs the research framework of ecological civilization construction of mineral resource-based cities in China,taking ecological efficiency,environmental quality,land space development and social development as subsystems of-ecological civilization construction of mineral resource-based cities.Secondly,the evaluation index system of ecological efficiency subsystem is constructed.This paper uses the method of stochastic frontier analysis to evaluate the ecological efficiency of 109 prefecture level mineral resource-based cities in China from 2008 to 2017,and analyzes the differences and causes of ecological efficiency of different types of mineral resource-based cities from 2008 to 2017 according to the calculation results.Thirdly,it constructs the evaluation index system of environmental quality subsystem.This paper uses entropy weight method to evaluate the environmental quality of 109 prefecture level mineral resource-based cities in China from 2008 to 2017,and analyzes the environmental quality differences and causes of different types of mineral resource-based cities from 2008 to 2017 according to the calculation results.Fourthly,it constructs the evaluation index system of land space development subsystem.This paper uses entropy weight method to evaluate the land space development and utilization level of 109 prefecture level mineral resource-based cities in China from 2008 to 2017,and analyzes the differences and causes of land space development utilization level of different types of mineral resource-based cities from 2008 to 2017 according to the calculation results.Fifthly,it constructs the evaluation index system of social development subsystem.This paper uses entropy weight method to evaluate the social development of 109 prefecture level mineral resource-based cities in China from 2008 to 2017,and analyzes the differences and causes of ecological and social development level of various cities from 2008 to 2017 according to the calculation results.Sixthly,the evaluation index system of ecological civilization construction level in China is constructed by using the above four subsystems.This paper uses factor analysis method to comprehensively evaluate the overall ecological civilization construction status of 109 prefecture level mineral resource-based cities in China from 2008 to 2017,and analyzes the differences and causes of ecological civilization construction in various cities from 2008 to 2017.Seventhly,the paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the level of ecological civilization construction of mineral resource-based cities in China.On the basis of summarizing the general regular pattern obtained in the previous chapters of the paper,firstly,it puts forward policy suggestions on improving the level of ecological civilization construction of mineral resource-based cities from the overall direction,and then puts forward the policy suggestions for the construction of ecological civilization in mineral resource-based cities from the perspective of oil-gas,coal and metal-nonmetallic resource-based cities,so as to promote the improvement of ecological civilization construction level of mineral resource-based cities,and to realize the sustainable development of these cities.
