This mixed-method study explored frontline manager and staff nurses perceptions about transformational leadership, leadership training and organizational performance measured by employee satisfaction. This study utilized a combination of a written survey, historical data and interviews. The results of this study found that significant, negative relationships exist between transformational leadership style and leadership training. The results of the study also suggest that significant, negative relationships exist between transformational leadership style and employee satisfaction scores within the organization.
