Four decades of reform and opening,Chinese economy has experienced the changes of the agricultural economy and the industrial economy.In recent years,with the rapid development of the new generation of information technology,it has entered into the digital economy.In the digital economy,traditional resources are no longer sufficient to form competitive advantage,knowledge and information occupy more important position.In different periods of economic development,the emergence and application of new technologies not only promote the reconstruction of the productivity system,but also have a profound impact on the changes at all levels of the production relationship.As an important strategic industry in China,high-tech manufacturing not only achieves its own industrial upgrading through technological innovation,but also drive the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.Industrial concentration is a core variable to measure the structure of the market,and its relationship with technological innovation has been discussed since Schumpeter.This paper focuses on Chinese high-tech manufacturing industry,using industry and regional data to explore the relationship between industrial concentration and technological innovation.Comparing the existing research,this paper takes into account the differences between the measurement stages of technological innovation indicators(R&D performance and commercialization performance)and the degree of technological innovation(gradual technological innovation and disruptive technological innovation)in the theoretical and empirical analysis.In addition,considering the changes of digital economy,this paper also examines the impact of the development of the digital economy and something of knowledge management such as absorptive capacity and technology learning costs.The full text is generally analyzed in the order of "presentation reveals-theoretical deduction-empirical test-results refinement".Specifically,this second chapter reviews the theoretical basis and literature,in order to find the content of this paper.In the third chapter of the study we analyze the current situation related to the technology innovation and the industrial concentration of high-tech Industry in China,the section also examines the impact of the digital economy.In the fourth chapter,the theoretical analysis of the relationship between industrial concentration and technological innovation,firstly grasp the relationship between them,including:From the perspective of historical evolution to examine the evolution of the relationship between them in the industrial revolution;Constructing a model of consumer and producer equilibrium implied price economics to analyze the relationship between consumers and producers.In addition,it also draws on the Austrian school's market process theory and sociological field theory to supplement the analysis of technological innovation and industrial concentration from micro-individual to organizational.Then,the impact of industrial concentration on technological innovation and the impact of technological innovation on industrial concentration are discussed At the end of the chapter,the impact of absorptive capacity and technology learning cost on the relationship between the two is also analyzedThe fifth chapter,the sixth chapter and the seventh chapter are empirical analysis.Using time series model and panel data analysis method,we analyze the industrial concentration of high-tech manufacturing industry and the performance of technological innovation in China from two dimensions:industry and region(province)The main contributions and innovations of this paperFirst,in the empirical analysis of industrial concentration and technological innovation,not only the panel data analysis method is applied,but also the long-term and short-term equilibrium relationship between time series analysis is added.In the selection of measurement technology innovation indicators,different types of technology innovation indicators(R&D efficiency,commercialization performance)are selectedSecond,this paper uses high-tech industry-level data to conduct research.Due to the small amount of data at the industrial level,the existing literature will homogenize industries and enterprises,neglect the characteristics of factors affecting the industry and the interaction between enterprises.The recommendations are often contradictoryThirdly,in the analysis of the relationship between the industrial concentration and technological innovation,the Austrian school's market process theory and the sociological field theory are used to conduct the analysis.In the theoretical and empirical analysis of the relationship between them,it not only examines the impact of industrial concentration on technological innovation,but also considering the feedback impact of technological innovation on industrial concentration.
