The Research On The Regional Economic Disparity And The Coordinated Development Of Gansu Province

Regional economic disparity is a common phenomenon in the development of the world economy.There are different degrees of disparity and imbalance in each country or region economic development. It will form with characteristics of the times of uncoordinated in different stages of development.And thus restricted the overall development of the region. This phenomenon has become an important research object of economic experts and scholars, it is also the main aspects of the macro management of governments, and we continue to explore and solve the important issues.Since twentieth century, domestic and foreign experts and scholars have conducted a lot of research on regional economics from the theoretical and empirical aspects, and put forward many new theories and ideas. However, the differences of regional economic development affected the speed and quality of regional economic development, and seriously restricted the sustainability development of regional economic.This paper was based on the theory and practice of regional economic development at home and abroad. And based on the overall situation and characteristics of economic development in Gansu Province, this study discussed the differences and coordination of regional economic development in Gansu Province, and analyzed the problems, explored the reasons, put forward suggestions and countermeasures. Around this theme, started a research from five aspects: first, this paper described the background of the topic, reference research status at home and abroad to clarify the significance of the study and determine the research ideas and methods. Second, the connotation of regional economy, balanced and unbalanced development theory and the phases of development characteristic has been carried on the systematic study and summary. Third, this paper studied and summaried Gansu Province economic zone from 2005 to 2014 period. Studied mainly west economic zone, east economic area and southeast economic area of Gansu Province in 2014, and the development of national economic zone status in 2014, explored the five regional economic development problems and development of the main restricted factors. Forth, according to the factors that affected the regional economic coordinated development in Gansu, put forward the countermeasures and suggestions of effective line with the situation in the Gansu Province. Fifth, this paper summarized the conclusions of the study, analysised deficiencies, thinked about the direction and goals of further research.So, based on the analysis of the five regional economic development in Gansu Province,explored the path and method of the effective development of the regional economy. To discover area resource advantage, reduce the differences of regional economic development.It has a certain practical significance to realize comprehensive economic and social sustainable development and the synchronous well-off society in Gansu province.
