The booming of Internet-related technology drives the rapid development of computerintelligent control system. In this process, the graphics configuration software is widelyused in various fields in modern industrial production. Meanwhile the graphicsconfiguration software plays more and more important role in the configuration softwarewith the differentiation and specialization of industrial control needs. As human-computerinteraction tools, Graphics configuration software is an important part of the configurationsoftware. It draws abstract things from real field environment of the control system, toestablish relationships between such things and thus forming a flow chart and theestablishment of the interface between the user and the system. In this way, the user canintuitively control the actual situation of the control system. So providing users withpowerful graphical configuration software editing functions is necessary.The traditional graphics configuration software editor has the following disadvantages:(1) a bloated client;(2) the extension of the software is not well;(3) reusability is reduced;(4) many of the software are developed for specific areas or specific scene;(4) somegraphics configuration software emphasis on drawing functions interact while theconnection with database is not satisfactory;(5) the way of setting configuration data iscomplex and repeatability is high, so it is too fast and error-prone.Most graphics configuration software connecting with the actual configuration datapoints bases on a single add, when the equipment convey lots of data points, the need toadd more data points corresponding to the device one by one is too easy inefficient anderror-prone.Combined with the needs of the project, and compared to graphics configurationsoftware editor in the market, this paper analyzed their advantages and disadvantages. Iconsider the actual situation and design editor based on Batik SVG graphics configurationsoftware. The software design principles and requirements is well discussed, the entirestructure of the software is designed, at last a detailed breakdown of the basic modules andfunctions of the software is divided. Compared to other SVG editing software, thissoftware takes into account the SVG basic graphics editing and design, also takes intoaccount the connection and interaction with the back-end database, and lay the foundationfor the follow-up to achieve a simple and efficient data distribution point.
